Can't really say that trailer was very impressive. I'm still waiting for Diesel to make HANNIBAL, that'll resurrect his career.

Looks like an average sci-fi action flick. Too bad the butchered version will be shown in the U.S. and the full version will be shown in Europe.

Wow, I loved the trailer and it's definitely a must-see for me. I've never had the hate for Vin as I consider Riddick to be one of the most badass characters ever written. August 29th couldn't come sooner.

The snow mobiles dodging missles looked a little shitty but the rest was impressive. The real question is should I see this in theaters in its chopped form or download its true version off the net?

Kassovitz is a much better actor than director.

I'm fucking tired of the Requiem for a Dream theme playing against epic trailers who should have the money to shell out something original. Way to whore out a beautiful score.

You know what I find amazing. Every trailer for years now has been absolutely ridiculed for having the "Requiem" music used. However, when "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" used it, NOBODY bitched at all. WTF?

because Lord of the Rings was as epic as the music

Okay....and "Sunshine" wasn't?

"Sunshine" was better and far more epic than all the "Lord of the Rings" movies combined yet everyone bitched that using the Requiem music for that trailer was stupid.

Sunshine was good but not nearly as awesome as The Lord of the Rings.

I thought this trailer was awesome and greatly look forward to it. Infact, it's now one of the movies I'm looking forward to most this summer. Though is it me or did the trailer give away that Diesel's character dies at the end?

damn, really.. sunshine was more epic then Lord of the Rings? Didn't it gross like six dollars?

I liked Sunshine (well, the last act kinda ruined it for me) but that comment is a little nuts, unless of course, you mean personally, and not literally.

and anyway, I think Babylon AD looks fucking bad ass.

La Haine makes this statement false.

but Gothika while a visual feast, wasn't anything special. Can't say the same for Crimson Rivers since I ain't seen it.

because Lord of the Rings was as epic as the musicOnly epic movie is ALLOWED to use Requiem theme song, it is prohibited for other type of movies to use the song. That's the law

Yeah, Clint Mansell must be making a fucking fortune...that song is getting incredibly jaded.

But WHAT a better actor than director?!?!

Sure Gothika was crap...but LA HAINE?!?

That's one of my top ten favorite movies...the cinematography in that movie is incredible. I haven't seen his other two films (Assassins or The Crimson Rivers) - have you? Maybe both of those are just as bad as Gothika and he's a "one hit wonder"...but I don't know man. After seeing how spectacular LA HAINE was...I'm going to give him a giant opportunity to prove himself again. I loved that film.
