I cannot freaking wait for El Che either. His first album was amazingly good.
I'm also looking forward to Common's (even tho I haven't gotten around to buying his last one yet...), Mos Def's, Big Boi's, Andre 3000's, RZA's and everything coming our way from Talib Kweli. I am again surprised by Busta's guest stars and production- I bought his last album on the power of one song, and a production credit from J Dilla. And if Detox ever comes out, I'll probably buy it out of pure shock ( haven't been a Dre fan since before Pac died...way before Pac died). I've been meaning to get into Immortal Technique for a while now, so maybe I'll pick up that album. And I've never really listened to Saigon but I love Just Blaze's production, so I might pick that up as well.
And I bought Seeing Sounds today. I wouldn't really call it rap, but it was pretty good. Still not as amazing as their first album in my opinion tho.
I'm also looking forward to Tech N9ne's new album, Killer. I don't think it has been mentioned yet...

Tech N9ne's new album has the gayest cover ever.
That's because it's a play on the REAL gayest cover ever...it goes along with the name, which is a parody of the same album. I like it...
and if we are going to mention albums that have come out so far in 2008, then The Roots new album was great in every way, from the cover art to the music...

While masturbating to "Reflection Eternal 2", saw this:
This will be Raekwon's fourth album and the sequel to his classic debut. Production will come from Dr. Dre, RZA, Marley Marl, Erick Sermon, Scram Jones, DJ Scratch and J Dilla.
Figuring Dilla's dead, I assume this is posthumous. Btw, I was bumping Ruff Draft the other day, and hot damn that man was a production genius.
And alas, Nas goes further from Nasty to Yuppy...

Saigon will never blow. It's not gonna happen. He's no better than Papoose, Graft, Corey Gunz, Joell Ortiz, Can OX, Jae Hood, or any other mixtape all-stars.
And the more I listen to Documentary, the more I realize Game is a very limited rapper. Seriously... he just had great production (Blaze, Dre, Eminem, Kanye, Timbaland) and good guest spots (Eminem killed We Ain't, 50 gave him some good hooks). Honestly, the dude sucks.
And at this point, seriously, Dre should just abandon Detox. The years of buildup... it's only gonna disappoint.
Lookin forward to Raekwon and Jedi Mind Tricks. To a lesser extent, Nas, but I'm afraid he's letting his situation change him. He already changed the album title... maybe he won't hit as hard with his messages in this album (as opposed to the harsh observations he made on Illmatic)

Thanks for all the info dude! You put a lot of work into that.
I will definitely be picking up Nas, Common and RZA.
The most anticipated one of course is Detox. I have been waiting years for that so I guess I am going to have to wait some more. But this is kinda turning into Dre's Chinese Democracy haha.
Also, its rumored that Eminem will be dropping an album around the same time of Detox. lets hope Em can bounce back from the awful Encore. I think he can.
Is Big Boi releasing an album this summer? I could of sworn I heard something about that.

Seldom do I hear me a Cannibal Ox ref...
You're right about Dre and Nas; well beyond their capabilities of releasing anything worthwhile.

08 has been really dissapointing so far for rap....
Anticipating;
Greatest Story Never Told: Probably wont drop though...
The Reformation: Bishop Lamont just dropped his mixtape and if the album is going to be anything like that its gonna be really good. Plus its the closest we're gonna get to Detox...
Digi Snax: Digital Bullet was good but In Stereo was average so we'll see what happens....
Im Blessed: Only one Dr. Dre production? Whats the point of signing to Aftermath?
El Che: Yup, still waiting
Nigger: Nas' latest mixatpe was good, so got high hopes for this
3rd World: Chino XL + Ras Kass + Crooked I + DJ Green Lantern = Awesome album

I know he's been in the studio, but I don't know what the details of that actually mean. He could just be producing for other albums.
But I don't know if he'll ever achieve the greatness of his first 3 albums again. His first 3 albums were very personal at parts, very controversial, and always managed some great over the top humor. He doesn't seem to have that any more. We all know the story of Kim, his mom, his daughter, etc. so there isn't much left to tell from a personal standpoint. His sense of humor isn't as good as it was in the past (compare My Name Is to Ass Like That if you don't know what I mean) and I think he lost the desire to be controversial. I still think he's the man, and can probably come out with a very good album better than Encore. He has too much raw talent NOT to outdo that album.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I know the Roots pulled a beat from Donuts to use after Dilla died, so did Ghostface I think, so maybe he will be doing something like that.
And yeah, Ruff Draft is amazing...both with lyrics and without.

Thats not a good thing. Eminem is no longer Slim Shady, he's too matured as an artist and a rapper.
Eminem tried to back Slim Shady and look what we got; Encore. Lame attempts to channel Slim Shady back like FACK, Just Lose It, Puke, Big Weenie and Ass Like That. The best and only good songs were where he just raps on some grown man shit like Mockingbird, Spend Some Time and Never Enough.
With the death of Proof, Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit no longer credible and his week long marriage I only hope he's come back on the mic angrier and better than ever.

Really? I think that album was the furthest thing from Slim Shady, Fack and all those songs are mentally retarded. When I think of Slim Shady I think of shit like "As The World Turns", "I'm Shady", "Still Don't Give A Fuck", "Kill You", "Criminal", etc. not that loony tunes bullshit he is doing now, that is the 180 opposite of Slim Shady from his first 2 albums.

Well I think his Slim Shady alter ego is the sort of insane, tangent rapping, lunatic who doesnt give a fuck. "Hi My Name Is", "I'm Shady" are the tracks that encapsulates Shady, mushroom popping songs about riping people's eyelids and fucking your grandmom's. I look at his first three albums as both mixtures of Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady ego songs.
Either way we can only hope his new album is better than Encore.

I said earlier Em kind of lost his niche. He's already told us his life story, and he's ran out of things to satirize. Personally, I hope he goes back to some narrative raps with complicated rhyme schemes (like Backstabber). I like his humorous songs, but they're isn't an obvious target any more. "Real Slim Shady" went after Boy Bands and stuff, "Without Me" had some political themes (as well as Pop music again) but he doesn't seem to have the same chip on his shoulder that he used to regarding the world. So his "funny" attempts were things like Ass Like That, which sucked.

In other non eminem hip hop news Ice-T and Soulja boy recently started some beef... Ice started it and Soulja Boy recently responded via youtube, pretty entertaining stuff, I am not a fan of either of these artists but rap beef is always fun.
Ice-T ranting how Soulja Boy single handedly wrecked hip-hop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQbrD2qDySc)

SNOOP DOGG SET TO DROP 'MALICE IN WONDERLAND' THIS WINTER WITH PRODUCTION FROM DR. DRE!!!
Snoop Dogg has revealed that he has been working with Dr. Dre recently. Firstly it was for the Doctor's upcoming "Detox" album, "That record is real it's coming," Snoop Dogg said. "You know me, I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off." Secondly, Dr. Dre will be behind the boards for Snoop's "Malice In Wonderland" album set for release at the end of the year.

You need to dig deeper Watson.
Jedi Mind Tricks, Sean Price, NYOil, Little Brother, Jean Grae, Reks, Skyzoo, Termanology, Immortal Technique, Raekwon, Mos Def, Murs and Atmosphere are all just as good (IMO better) than any Stone's Throw artist.
Just listen to Atmosphere's new album When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit Gold, that shit is the best Hip Hop album in years. I'll PM you a DL if you want it.

i have been listening to hip hop for 15 years. i know alot and have heard alot
i used to be a massive wu tang fan and have seen em a few times and i have met ghost
was listening to ghost kick it with mighty healthy today in a shoe shop in covent garden. seriously sick
raekwon has done one good album. only built for cuban linx!!!
i have been waiting on cuban linx 2 for a couple years. i fear a disappointment
the recent rza album was so bad and the last wu tang album was rubbish
best thing rza ever did was the instrumentals for ghost dog score imo
i know most of the artists on that list. i am not into shouty hip hop so that rules out immortal techinque and jedi mind tricks although i do repect em i would never listen to em. dont need anymore agro in my life szayin kido
mos defs last two albums were so poor. i like mos on a couple tracks but i aint a sucka for him
madlib, karriem riggins and oh no are by far the best producers on the block and most slept on
check out their stones throw recent podcasts
have you heard beat konducta???
have you heard yesterdays new quintet??
peanut butter wolf and charizma's sickening true rap album big shots???
both lootpacks??
quasimoto??
percee p the quickest rapper in the game??
med??
seriously man stones throw bring fresh whilst other produce the same generic bullshit that bores me to tears
j dilla was also a genius
donuts is amazing. instrumentals are my forte
i dont like it when rappers take on donuts. the instrumentals will always sound better
i dont like atmosphere
his voice annoys me and i don't like what he raps about. backpack rap aint my cuppa
med is my favourite rapper. check out lootpack lost tapes songs i declare war and forever beef. listen to the lyrics on both those songs. its harsh!
so to sum up i know my stuff and i hate how the genre has become so polluted with cunts and chief rappers. rnb dicks and greed
gone are the days of the early 90s friendo

Tech N9ne's new album has the gayest cover ever.
I know this is old now, but that cover is awesome! I wouldn't have checked it out if you hadn't brought it up. I'm checking out the album as soon as I can.
That Wale mixtape based on Seinfeld is fuckin' bumpin'.
If you, or anyone here is into mix tapes, i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Girl Talk's album Night Ripper:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/40/Girl_Talk_Night_Ripper.JPG
Here's the credited list of sampled artists:
"2 Live Crew, 2PAC, 50 Cent, 69 Boyz, Abba, Paula Abdul, Aerosmith, Amerie, Annie, Arrested Development, David Banner, Rob Base, Bel Biv Devoe, George Benson, Better Than Ezra, Beyoncé, Black Box, The Black Crowes, Black Eyed Peas, Black Rob, Black Sheep, Boredoms, Boston, Bow Wow, Boyz II Men, The Breeders, Chris Brown, James Brown, Bun B, Busta Rhymes, Calloway, Candyman, Mariah Carey, Cassidy, Chicago, Ciara, Clipse, Phil Collins, Nikka Costa, Crime Mob, D12, D4L, DJ Assault, DJ EZ Rock, Dem Franchise Boyz, Digable Planets, Diplomats, Dinosaur Jr, Dr Dre, Jermaine Dupree, Elastica, Missy Elliot, Eminem, The Emotions, En Vogue, Fabolous, Fall Out Boy, Fatman Scoop, The Five Stairsteps, Fleetwood Mac, Folk Implosion, Foo Fighters, G-Unit, The Game, Garbage, Genesis, Andrew Gold, Al Green, Peter Gunz, Hall and Oates, Sophie B. Hawkins, Honey Drippers, Hum, Donnie Iris, J-Kwon, JJ Fad, Jay-Z, Jefferson Airplane, Joe Public, Elton John, Mike Jones, Junior Mafia, KRS ONE, Kansas, Kelis, Alicia Keys, LCD Soundsystem, LL Cool J, Lady Sovereign, Laid Back, Lil John, Lil Wayne, Lil Webbie, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Lord Tariq, Ludacris, M.A.R.R.S., M.I.A., Madonna, Main Ingredient, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Marky Mark, Paul Mccartney, Michael Mcdonald, George Michael, Mobb Deep, Mark Morrison, 'NSYNC, Nas, Nate Dogg, Naughty by Nature, Nelly, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Noreaga, Notorious B.I.G., Oasis, P. Diddy, Pavement, Phantom Planet, The Pharcyde, Pharrell, Pilot, The Pixies, Positive K, Public Enemy, Punjabi MC's, Purple Ribbon All-Stars, The Rentals, Smokey Robinson, S.W.V., Salt N Pepa, Juelz Santana, Seals and Croft, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Slim Thug, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, Britney Spears, Billy Squier, Gwen Stefani, T.L.C., James Taylor, Tears For Fears, Technotronic, Three 6 Mafia, Timbaland, Trillville, Trina, The Verve, The Waitresses, Paul Wall, Warren G, Weezer, Kanye West, Whispers, Wings, Steve Winwood, Stevie Wonder, Wreckx-N-Effect, X-Ray Spex, Ying Yang Twins, Young Gunz, Young Jeezy."
And this shit is flawless in meshing. Moving from Paula Abdul to Nirvana's Scentless Apprentice throwing in Manfred Mann's Earth Band, the Three 6 Mafia....
If you like these mix albums - please check this one out if you haven't already. I generally don't get into these. The only ones I've found that I really dig weren't as hip hop centered as this one --- those would be Avalanches radio show mixes, and Prodigy's Dirt Chamber Sessions.
It's actually a 2006 release, but he just released a 2008 album that I haven't heard yet, since I just picked this one up and it's so good I'm reeling to check out the next one.
Check out the artists credits from this one --- even more sprawing than the previous. I'm actually going to look for this on legal download right now....

Oh, and the dude looks like Jon Heder from SNL, but don't let that stop you from checking his mixes out. The dude has a great ear.

Anyone else really feeling Lupe Fiasco? Ever since I saw him open at Glow in the Dark Tour I've been listening to him even more, he's great live, made me apreciate his music a lot more.
Peep this remix to Daydreaming (http://sharebee.com/930f35bf)
I'm a big supporter of Lupe. I really regret not going to that show. OT a bit, but my kid is in love with the Superstar song. He's 2 and we took him for a haircut and he actually requested a cut Matthew Santos LOL. Of course we got the cut, and he just has an eddie muster point since we won't gel his hair every morning. Haha. He doesn't know.
I did a mash of Daydreaming by Lupe and Squares from Beta Band - both featuring the same lifted chorus. It was okay, but I should have put more time into it, and eventually just junked it.
I can't wrap my head around people calling shit like Soulja Boy rap music. It might be music but it sure as hell isn't rap or hip-hop. It's fucking garbage.
You have to call it something, and hate it if you will, it does fall under the monicker of hip hop. This kind of rap has been around for a while. I think it's just a throw back to Miami Bass type stuff from the 90s - 95 South, as well as stuff like Who Let The Dogs Out. It's like Party Rap, and not much more.
I'm no fan, though I do like watching people dance to it. Since I'm not into choreographed dancing or whatever it is --- it's like hip hop line dancing really... I usually step back for tracks like this. There's a lot of shit I'll move to, but when I see everyone doing the modern equivilent of The Hustle, I turn into a spectator.
You just have to remember, with almost any genre, there's the stuff that's for listening to, and the stuff mostly just for dancing and partying too -- the latter is usually the least sophisticated of the bunch, although sometimes something breaks through and really works. Country Music had Achy Breaky Heart, Rock had "We Built This City", and Rap gets Soldjarefao Boy or however its spelled.
The diamond encrusted goblet is half full!
What does everyone feel about BRother Ali??? I love his delivery and voice. Great lyricist - last album had pretty good production, but I'm eager to hear a new album.
Very stoked to hear some stuff from Big Boi and A3000 --- though am I the only one who wishes they were working together like the old days?

By the way - I've been hearing this song "45" from The Saturday Knights
Has anyone heard or know of this group? I'm digging the hell out of this trio. Their album is getting perfect, but extremely limited (2) reviews on Amazon:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51oLjsKJ5iL._SL500_AA240_.jpg
Product Description
Mingle is right! The Saturday Knights have been a crucial part of the Seattle music scene, taking on a room of timid rock and rap dwarves with pop smarts as thick as Sonny Liston's fists. Tapping deep into their creative skills and unprecedented personal charm, Mingle is a flawlessly fluid integration of vintage rock, lady-loving soul, and trailer park punk. DJ Suspence uses the catchiest rhythms you've heard, weaving them through crisp bursts of surf guitar and classic rock. Rhyme-swappers Tilson and Barfly's superb storytelling address twisted every-day-yet-subterranean subject matter, laid out in sweet barbershop harmonies. Assisting on the thirteen song debut are the likes of The Dap-Kings (Sharon Jones, Amy Winehouse's backing band), Soundgarden's Kim Thayil, a dash of the Muscle Shoals Horns, and Nirvana producer Jack Endino playing drums on ''45.'' Like Iceberg Slim chopped with MC5, Mingle boasts big beats and lighthearted laments without irony or pretension. This is definitely one trio you want to rub shoulders with... dig in.
If Genesis and The Roots had a love child, that love child would be named Saturday Knights.
This album is a refreshing change from the norm. Each song is a hit, although my new favorite probably has to be "Patches." Quick and fun, these guys are sure to blow up big.
If you haven't downloaded this already, get to it! I have had this on repeat for a week now and I still can't get enough.

It's not too bad. Nothing special... but then again Grandmasters wasn't either. Last good GZA album was Legend Of Liquid Swords, seems like he lost a little bit of fire after that.
The new Ice Cube (Raw Footage) is great though. Better than Laugh Now, Cry Later IMO. It's good to have Cube on top (or close to the top) of his game again.

The beats on Grandmaster were solid, I'll give you that... but for some reason I just can't get past GZA's boring, monotone flow. Shit puts me to sleep. When you go back to Legend Of Liquid Swords, Beneath The Surface and Liquid Swords he almost never rapped like that. Grandmasters made him sound like a more lyrical, but less effective Masta Killah with a sinus problem.
Liquid swords is my second favorite Wu solo joint, right behind Only Built 4 Cuban Linx (Which is in my top 3 hip hop CD's of all time).

It's gonna be dropping sooner than you think. Bishop Lamont (Dre's new Eminem) has been speaking out about it alot recently and it's pretty well done. Snoop Dogg, Em, 50 Cent and shitload more people have added stuff to it. The way it's gonna work is the way they did 2001 and Slim Shady LP but with Detox and Bishop's The Reformation.

I know I'm in the minority but I LOVED the Gift and The Curse, I really think it's a classic and has great tracks and good flow, and the 2 discs can basically stand by themselves, it was like basically getting 2 full C.D's, so I can't complain.
Blueprint 2 had It Was all a Dream, The Watcher 2, Bonnie and Clyde, Excuse Me Miss, All Around the World, The Bounce, Gun's and Roses and many more, actually out of his catalogue Blueprint 2 might be the album I listened to the most, excluding Black Album.
So yah it's Blueprint 3 and El Che (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENXQEfBtrow)that's I really can't wait for

I agree that Blueprint 2 had a lot of really great songs, like the ones you mentioned, as well the song The Blueprint 2 and especially Meet the Parents, one of Jay's best storytelling songs. However, I also thought it had a lot of subpar songs, and could've been a near classic worthy of standing alongside The Blueprint had it been cut down to 1 cd. I know he kind of did that with The Blueprint 2.1, but I don't count that and I don't completely agree with all the songs he chose and/or left out. I'd rank it 7th out of his 10 studio cds, with Dynasty, Vol. 3, and Kingdom Come all falling behind it.

Grandmasters is GZA's best album after Liquid Swords IMO.
I'd take Legend Of Liquid Swords and Beneath The Surface before Grandmasters any day. I've never seen the fascination with Grandmasters... like I said, I'll grant the fact that Muggs make some ill beats, but GZA isn't anywhere NEAR on top of his game on Grandmasters.
Ice Cube's new album is garbage if you ask me. I understand where he's coming from like reporting the ghetto or whatever but that guy can't rap a birthday present. He just rhymes with cheap ass one syllable words kindergarten style and I think it's lame and dated.
Ice Cube has never been all that lyrical. If that's what you were looking for I'd have to ask how long you've been listening to hip hop. No offense.... but Cube isn't Nas or Biggie or Rakim... he never has been. He's still a legend though. That said... I don't see how anyone could dislike Cube. Dude has one of the strongest discographies in hip hop. Amerikkkas Most Wanted, The Predator, Death Certificate (His best) and Lethal Injection are all classic CD's. And while his new one doesn't match up to any of those, it certainly beats out most new hip hop I can think of. (Including some of the underground garbage I've heard like MF Doom and Sage Francis).

Blueprint 2 was FAR too inconsistent IMO. And Jay (Along with pretty much any rapper) just can't hold a 2 disc CD together very well. Especially considering all of the seemingly forced and garbage tracks he throws on there like So Many Hoes, N****a Please, I Did It My Way, Fuck All Nite, Diamond Is Forever, The Bounce, What They Gon Do Pt. 2 and a few others.
Watcher 2, All Around The World, Meet the Parents, Excuse Me Miss, U Don't Know (Remix), As One and Guns & Roses are the strongest tracks for me. Everything else is either subpar (Even for Jay) or complete garbage (Bonnie and Clyde '03 being a great example of this... how he could take an ill song like Tupac's "Me and My Girlfriend" and make it something as god awful as the song he did is beyond me).

I feel you on that... wack beats can kill a song for sure. But good beats don't make an uncharismatic, unmotivated, monotone MC sound any better either.
Beneath the Surface and Legend Of Liquid Swords had decent production. Nothing all that extraordinary. But Arabian Knight and Mathematics threw a few gems here and there. The thing that boosts them above Grandmasters for me isn't beats, it's all about GZA. He seemed much hungrier back then.
mf doom imo is not a top mc but his instrumentals are far superior and more forward than any cube beats since his days with nwa

MF Doom's beats aren't that bad. His instrumental CD's are actually better than pretty much any CD he raps on (Outside of Madvillainy, which is only because Madlib does production and he's amazing IMO).... That said, I'd still take the Bomb Squad's production on Amerikkkas Most Wanted over any production MF Doom has done.
The thing I find funny is... Eazy E had quite a bit of his verses written for him BY Cube. Doesn't surprise me, he was easily the best out of NWA in terms of MC'ing (With Ren pulling in a close second, listen to Shock Of The Hour if you don't believe me.... Dre is obviously a fantastic producer, one of the best IMO, but his MC'ing skills... outside of his flow, leave a little to be desired).

LOL. Yeah, Sage Francis is trash to me. A friend of mine tried to put me on to his music one day (He took out fucking Midnight Marauders in the middle of one of my favorite tracks) and I just sat there bewildered. I couldn't figure out why he thought this dude was any good.
Now I can bump some Binary Star or Atmosphere or Cunninlynguists... but some of these underground MC's are just trash (Vast Aire of Cannibal Ox... I see you ).

arabian prince? just downloaded his anthology. good stuff
madlib is outstanding. seen him live. favourite beat maker along side dilla, karriem and fly lo
the worst thing about madvillainy is doom on the mic. he even sends a body double to his live shows now which is a complete slap in the face to his fans
cube did write a couple verses for e in nwa but easy delivered it to a t. whenever i listen to nwa im always waiting for easy to kick in. same with leaders of the new school with busta. old busta, not the lame busta since when disaster strikes

Now I can bump some Binary Star or Atmosphere or Cunninlynguists... but some of these underground MC's are just trash (Vast Aire of Cannibal Ox... I see you ).
i too dont rate sage. his voice annoys me
that 1st binary star album is wicked. one be lo
hate atmosphere though

gza wasn't that bad in grandmasters. his raps are pretty tight. different raps for different folks i guess
I'm not denying GZA's lyrical ability on the album. His raps were tight lyrically. But lyricism isn't everything. Charisma, Flow and delivery are just as important and on all those points, GZA on Grandmasters barely registered IMO.
arabian prince? just downloaded his anthology. good stuff
Nah. Arabian Knight. He's a Wu affiliate. Never really did mich outside of producing a few GZA tracks on BTS and LOLS and two tracks for Killah Priest though.
madlib is outstanding. seen him live. favourite beat maker along side dilla, karriem and fly lo
Madlib would be in my top 5 easy right now. Dude is insane with his beats. Definitely one of my favorites.
the worst thing about madvillainy is doom on the mic. he even sends a body double to his live shows now which is a complete slap in the face to his fans
I heard about that. That's kind of fucked up... but I heard dude wasn't very good live to begin with.

Eazy's delivery was always on point. Even on his solo joints. But I've preffered Cube as an overall MC compared to anyone else in NWA. And don't even get me started on Busta. lol

Really? Damn. Slug is above average for me... nothing special, but Ant is what really drives Atmosphere IMO. His production is always on point and seems to fit Slugs delivery and flow well.

LOL. Yeah, Sage Francis is trash to me. A friend of mine tried to put me on to his music one day (He took out fucking Midnight Marauders in the middle of one of my favorite tracks) and I just sat there bewildered. I couldn't figure out why he thought this dude was any good.

LOL yeah Vast is trash fo sho. Cold Vein gets mad props however(I wasn't feelin it)
Binary dropped one of the best albums ever with Masters of the Universe...fuckin masterpiece.
As far as Sage goes...his style is not the easiest to adapt to but his battle skillz are on point..id fuck him up though.

Downloaded that new Game (L.A.X.) last night. It's okay. There's a few stand out tracks (Letters to a King, Bulletproof Diaries, Ya Heard, State of Emergency, etc.) but overall it's pretty average. Although I'm not a huge fun of Game anyway.... I'd probably enjoy dude's music more if he didn't name drop half the population of the US in every CD he makes.

Cold Vein is good.
Masters of the Universe is fuckin dope. Love that CD. It kinda sucks they broke up like La Motta said but at least One Be Lo is still doing his thing (Dropped a pretty dope CD last year with REBIRTH).

Yeah. Love that song 'Gray'.
Also for the guy that doesn't like Atmosphere have you listened to When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. It's one of the best albums (rap or otherwise) of the year and his best work to date.

like i said i don't like the sound of slugs voice, he annoys me. i'm very selective when it comes to mc's. i only like a few. i'm more into instrumentals to tell the truth

Don't know if any else has heard it, I haven't read through every post here...but the new Nappy Roots album is great. Of course I'm a big Nappy Roots fan...I like this one (The Humdinger) a whole lot better than their second album, but not as good as their first.
