...which ultimately culminated in the greatest EVER commerical tune for, no joke, Preparation H years ago.

'Folsom Prison Blues' was good, as was the entire performance, and 'Boy Named Sue' is some entertaining music.

"Cocaine Blues", "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky", "A Boy Named Sue"...

"Hurt" kicks all kinds of ass too, but I know the original too well for it to really stand out for me as a Cash song.

It's so badass that he kicked ass after 50 years doing his thing.

... I know I had it comin',
I know I can't be free.
But those people keep a movin',
and that's what tortures me.

Folsom Prison Blues has, at different times, been a fitting metaphor for life. It is probably my favorite.

-Sunday Morning Coming Down

Most depressing song ever made.

At least until the next Johnny Cash song was recorded. Damn, I miss that man.

Truth.
If I ever decide to lobotomize myself with a shotgun, that song will be playing.
