Yes, you heard that right We finally are getting a special edition for this beloved horror gem for the 20th anniversary. And it's finally in WIDESCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!:D Glad I holded out on buy this for 5 bucks I knew somewhere down the road we were going to get one.


This 20th Anniversary Edition will street on September 9th. We're still waiting on the official artwork so stay tuned for that.

I can't wait for Sept 9th!!!!!!

I have all the movies except CHILD'S PLAY, just because they never had a decent release of it.
I hate not having one of my two favorite in the series, and I'm glad I waited so long to finally fill out that collection.

It should be out?!! I live in Australia and found it at the import store last thursday, and yeah it was the new iffy diffy one for the 20th anniversary, i even debated buying it and double checked for widescreen on the back. The features do look tasty though, if something's fucked up and the release has been delayed for some reason,i might have to get a copy after all.

I got mine at my local bestbuy only 10 bucks. They had around 7 but where going fast I picked one up as well as 3 other people. So By now they are probally all sold out and I called my local mall and They said 17 phone calls wanted to if it was in stock. I was in schock.

This title is going fast.

Ive been waiting to get the entire collection for a while now since I bought the collection once and then traded it in. Its good to see a movie like Childs Play be sought after by so many.

Im looking forward to that Chucky commentary as well. Also is there any artwork yet?

umm yup the cover art has been knon since july and dvd announced since june... and its a sweet dvd i have it... but its hard to find stores carrying this title, i had mine on pre-order since june.... so i got my mailed to me... but none of my stores around me had it in stock. most said had to order online....

wow watched the movie this dvd has awesome picture and sound the surround sound gets a work out with this movie.. they did a awesome job worth finding and buying if you can.........

Only best buy had it where I live , but no one is going to have the high school flashback collection in stores next week so I have to get that at Amazon. And I agree the Child's play dvd is awesome.
