Marvel film Schedule.....

Ok. I'm sure like most you are all frustrated about the "rush" of Iron Man II.. The schedule for the studio to knock out so many films in such a short space does appear greedy on behalf of the movie moguls.... Here I have a mixed view.. I have recently seen The Incredible Hulk (00.05 GMT - 06/12 that's right in England we got the movie slightly earlier) It was a great film told a nice story and predictably left a cheeky "what happens next" ending... So I cannot wait for the next installment of Iron Man / Avengers etc..... So what is the problem with the studio feeding the fans ?.... In all honesty I am convinced that the studio already have an outline for the direction of the next movie - Heck they could do Iron Man II with Stark Vs Hulk with the 3rd installment being that Iron Man needs The Avengers to "subdue" Banner's alter ego.... They could do without Norton and have him PURE green for the movie and one less paycheck is needed.... They as a studio have that right - to mess about after all it is their project... I for one would liuke to see the Fav given the Dir Chair for the sequel but the fact is now he has lifted their studio to the front, they WILL get the audience anyway - Hopefully they will not break a near perfect formula.. Lets be fair some of the great stories (Daredevil, Elektra, Punisher) have been ruined by the mis direction - If this does happen with Iron Man II - their whole franchise might just disappear which would be a great shame because I could easily see 10 or more movies coming within the next 15-20years from them..

So come on guys - what are your Views - not on the story lines but about which direction the studio might go in IF they mess around with the winning team(s)

Marvel knows better then to mess with a winning team unless they have no other option. Late April 2010 seems like plenty of time to make a quality sequel given the fact that no real pre-production needs be done on the main character. Iron Man's armor looks amazing and I'm sure all the software is still in place. Tweak a War machine armor, cast a Mandarin and start rolling. The script and story itself is the big thing at this point and they have 8 months to write it from today.

Marvel needs to stick with the plan. They're two for two as of now and get a nice breather before Iron Man 2 and Thor take center stage.
