Yes you did. And by the time I had finished my carefully constructed and distinctly withering retort to your erroneous post...you'd already rectified it. Damn you!!! :D

Well, it's supposed to be really really good.

Spencer Krug has yet to falter and I do doubt he can top any of his Sunset Rubdown work.

For some reason the only thing I've liked from Spencer Krug's different projects is Sunset Rubdown. Wolf Parade's last album didn't age well for me and I've been hearing split opinions over this new one. I'm not sure if I'll even really give it a listen.

Apologies was and is still fucking awesome. It's probably going to keep its spot as one of my favorite albums of the decade.

I thought Shut Up I Am Dreaming... was okay at first minus the fucking amazing closer, but I'm still warming to it as time goes on.

Loved Random Spirit Lover's highs, and really liked it overall, but it did drag a little bit in places. Almost like it as much as Apologies.

Thought Plague Park was okay. Pretty good overall, pretty damn good in places, but overall didn't really impress me that much. Not nearly as daring as the Wolf Parade albums or the Sunset Rubdown stuff.

I'm still not totally sure how I feel about At Mount Zoomer. It seems like it's a grower (just like Apologies was for me), but no matter how I end up feeling about it as a whole by the time I make a solid judgement on it, this is most definitely Dan's Wolf Parade album. "Language City" and "The Grey Estates" especially are some of the best songs in Wolf Parade's catalogue. Just really quality stuff.

The co-written (I'm pretty sure) "Kissing the Beehive" is probably the best song on here, though. Fucking epic, and overall just amazing. Subtle, but kickass at the same time. It's this album's "Fillmore Jive," if you will.

I will listen to this album tonight before I sleep, and I will report back if any of my opinions change. Good shit.
