Hellboy II: The Golden Army
Meet Dave
The Dark Knight

The X-Files: I Want to Believe (Ugh. What a horrible title! Sounds more like a tagline than a friggin' title! But I love The X-Files and this one will hopefully deliver!)

What's great too is that people I know say they're going to see TDK. And they're not even movie buffs nor Batman fans. I really hope it does well in the B.O. to prove that hard work and dedication to a good story and getting great actors pays off.

Guys, I know Transsiberian is opening the same weekend as The Dark Knight and all, but you should still check out this movie sometime in the theater. Its amazing. I saw it at Sundance this year.

Anyone who is a fan of The Machinist will also like this.

Oh I caught the trailer for that today. It looks really good, and I'm a big fan of Eduardo Noriega as well as Brad Anderson's work.

I have a screening for TDK at 2am in IMAX on teh 18th, I can always score the last showing of Trans-Siberian.

Hancock (the newest trailer sparked my interest, but I'll hold off a bit until the crowds die down; seeing I Am Legend on opening night was a BIG mistake on my part)

Hellboy II (GDT has really nailed this one)

The Dark Knight (I was never a Batman fan until I saw BB in theaters, and the cast is nothing short of phenominal)

I just saw the trailer for that and it does indeed look great. I hope it opens wide.

But I don't get a Machinist vibe from the trailer. I know it's from the same director, but it doesn't look anything like that movie.

It's out Friday, and I know it's gonna be brilliant--her last film, The Kid Stays in the Picture, is one of the best documentaries of all time, and this time she spent 10 months with a group of high school kids in the midwest...the trailers look awesome, the reviews are huge.

I think it's cuz I was unpopular in high school that these stories still resonate with me (the John Hughes stuff, Buffy when she was in high school, Freaks & Geeks)--part of me wants to relive it to be someone else, and part of me has to watch like when you stare at a glass falling and shattering instead of doing something about it...they always say you always see yourself as who you were in high school, no matter how old you are--you guys find that to be true?
