Never heard of it.
But that poster kicks ass . . . all kinds of ass.
The only Rob Zombie movie I've seen is his remake of Halloween. Wasn't bad . . . wasn't good. Jury's still out on this one.

Considering the style it looks he's going for I'll forgive the writing for this one. But anyway that's a great looking poster.

Zombies 3 for 3 in my book. Yup, I even liked Halloween and I think Devils Rejects is a horror masterpiece.
Bring it on!

House and Rejects were fantastic, while the Halloween remake was just down right incredibly offensive. Here's hoping this is good.

Totally agree with you guys the poster is awesome.
I am definitely interested in this film.
With that being said I HATED his Halloween film but I really really like House of 1000 Corpses. I think its an underrated horror film.

Probably change my mind when the trailer comes out though.

This is based on Zombie`s graphic novel "The Nail" he did with Steve Niles. It`s about a wrestler who goes after a Satanic biker gang after they attack his family.

the trippy colors on the ground and the dress (bell bottoms, etc) and the old car says this movie is set in the 70's? I have never heard of the novel, so I don't know. But the poster is suggesting it.
Also look at the cross on his chest, could be an underlying good vs evil thing going on other than the obvious plot.
i dunno, maybe i'm high.

I'm sold as Zombie is 3/3 and I really like his music but I just fear he may be eventually heading the Direct to DVD route. And is that guy wearing bellbottoms?

Here's an old bit from bloody-disgusting.com (back from February):
UPDATED: Plot Details For Rob Zombie's 'Tyrannosaurus Rex'!
Friday, February 22, 2008
By: MrDisgusting
UPDATE INSIDE: A few weeks back Rob Zombie announced that he will be directing a new horror film for Dimension Films entitled Tyrannosaurus Rex, which is NOT about dinosaurs. We were intrigued so we did some serious digging and have finally discovered the basic premise (with some minor details still missing). Read on to see what Rob Zombie's T-REX is about!
UPDATE: There's a supposed "official" Myspace page for the film where Rob Zombie (if it's really him) writes "Not sure how this all started , but this film is not based on a comic book called The Nail. If fact I haven't told anybody what this film is yet." So either one of three things happened: 1: Rob is lying per usual (like when he told DreadCentral that he was in fact directing CHUD, which was BS) 2: The Zombie camp is lying to me 3: Rob changed the story enough to where it's not based on THE NAIL anymore. I guess only time will tell who is bullsh-tting who, but I can tell you this much - I'm getting pretty fed up with all of this lying, semantics and lack of communication that always seems to come with a Rob Zombie movie.
A regular scooper tipped us off, and it was confirmed that T-REX is about a wrestler named Tyrannosaurus Rex who is on the run from a biker gang from hell. Furthermore, the idea for the film is loosely based on the comic book Zombie did with Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) entitled THE NAIL. Here's the synopsis:
Hunted in one of the most desolate regions of America, preyed upon by an evil that does not sleep, Rex Hauser is The Nail - and it's time he took a stand. A semi-pro wrestler, Hauser has been touring the country performing at small-time arenas until the fateful night he and his family run afoul of a bloodthirsty gang of Satanic bikers stalking the North Dakota Badlands. Now he's a lone man fighting for the survival of his loved ones in a no-holds-barred standoff against the forces of Hell itself! Co-written by the newly formed CREEP International writing team of modern horror masters Rob Zombie and Steve Niles, The Nail is a relentless, unflinching portrait of the heart of darkness, and what one man will sacrifice to hold it at bay.
The film is slated for release August 28, 2009.

This is based on Zombie`s graphic novel "The Nail" he did with Steve Niles. It`s about a wrestler who goes after a Satanic biker gang after they attack his family.
A pro wrestler. Hopefully he gets former wrestler Diamond Dallas Page to play the main ass kicker. DDP played a bounty hunter in The Devils Rejects and did good with what he had. If not DDP maybe Andrew Byrnarski (sp?). He played Leatherface in the 2 new TCM flicks, as well as Zangief in Street Fighter. The black guy on the poster should be played by Carl Wethers. He doesnt seem to be to busy anymore.
The movie could be good. I thought I'd end up liking House of 1000 Corpses but I found it to be one of the worst movies ever made. The Devils Rejects had some moments, as did Halloween. But I wouldnt say I like either flick.

When I first saw the poster I pretty much figured it was, from left to right: Ken Foree, Tyler Mane, and Sheri Moon Zombie.
However Ken maybe a bit too big these days to play the part given how small he looks in the guy looks in the picture. But who knows.

I can't wait to see what this turns into. Badass poster.
I don't think his Halloween is nowhere as terrible as some say (I'd take it over at least 4 of the Halloween sequels). The Devil's Rejects is one of my favorites of the past 10 years and House of 1000 Corpses is pretty decent.
I'm a Rob Zombie fan, mostly his music, but so far I'm digging his flicks, especially The Devil's Rejects.
He better get Trejo in this badboy. LONG LIVE THE TREJO!

Really? The poster looks like shit to me.
I mean, okay, the "painting" is cool, but the overall design is goddamn awful. Please look at the colors puked on it, the shitty looking font, etc. I wouldn't hang that shit in my bathroom. It even has the quality fuck-ups that happen when you don't export an image right from software like PhotoShop, especially around the typed bits. It literally looks like someone did it on MS Paint after downloading a cool drawing from DeviantArt.
Get a different designer to turn that painting into a cool poster; otherwise it's wasted.

House of 1,000 Corpses sucked.
The Devil's Rejects was ok.
Halloween remake was aweful.
1 for 3 for me.
As for this, I have no real interest in this. It will probably be like the previous 3 movies, lots of swearing, stupid dialogue, and aweful characters. The guy can't write a screenplay. He isn't bad at directing, but he should let others do the writing for him.

He may get Tyler Mane as Rex, Mane used to be a wrestler too - and Mane has been in two Zombie movies already - so they have a good working relationship.
