Ok so i have been waiting for TDK ever since Oldman pulled out the card and had bale "look in to it". So i have seen the trailers which are fine but BY GOD the tv spots are giving SO MUCH away that every time a spot comes on i have to cover my ears and eyes and humm until somebody tells me its ok to look. I mean really, do we need to see EVERYTHING in 5 30 seconds spots? Anyone else feel the same with this or any other film???

I must not be seeing the same spots. The ones I've seen have been more repetitive than anything else. It's the sole opinion of this poster that there'll be plenty of money shots for us to look forward to in The Dark Knight.

I thought they have been really good at not giving anything away so far, except for a recent one which showed....

SPOILERS

...the Joker actually throwing Rachel Dawes out of the window.

END SPOILERS

That's all. I am sure Batman saves the day though. ;)

I'm actually pissed off more at the commercials for the kiddie merchandise than the TV spots. I'm still waiting to flip past Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network and see the TV spots that make it look like a family film. They may not have them yet, but I bet you that they will show up soon.Oh God, I'm fighting back the urge to vomit just thinking about it.

Those TV spots don't spoil anything, calm down... This movie is fucking 160-something minutes long; and all in all we've only seen a good 5-10 minutes. But can you tell me the order of events that take place in the film? Can you tell me how things will go down? No... Because as much as people have seen, we still don't know jack-shit about what's going to happen.

And throwing Rachel off the building is not a spoiler; she's not going to die... Just like every trailer for every Spiderman movie, you think Mary Jane was going to get kill and when that part actually happens in the movie, it's almost nothing and you sit there thinking "Oh."

My guess: Joker throws Rachel off the building Batman jumps off too to save her, he saves her, Joker gets away; and you'll be left thinking "Oh."
And that's not to say you're not going to care about that scene, it's just when they isolate that one clip it seems like a pivotal event, but then you see how it actually all plays out it's not going to be as big of a deal.

This is a huge movie; they're not going to "spoil" anything for you in a 15 second clip.

Additional rant, which I'm contemplating starting a thread about, I've noticed an increase of spoiler fear on the internet lately. I'm not going to get into it right now, but it's pissing me off. Get over it.
