Anyone else seen this entertaining Canadian slasher?

I remember this movie from years ago, but I just picked it up recently in a 50 horror movie dvd package. Something called "Drive in Classics".:)

*************SPOILERS**************

Kept my interest much better than some of the others in that package. Decently acted to, I thought.

Anyway, the jist of it is that a young girl goes to visit her grandmother for the summer. She is there to help run and renovate an old funeral parlor, turned resort home. Guests of the home start to soon disappear. Ah the mystery unravels. "Grandma's" husband, the mortician had disappered some years earlier, never to be seen again. He is presumed dead or shacked up with another women. Well I'm not going to reveal too much, the ending is predictable, but fun nonetheless. As is the entire movie. I recommend checking it out if you can find it.

These 50 movie dvd packages are worth buying if you have $20 to spend. You honestly get some hidden gems, along with some absolute crap.:)

I have "Chilling Classics" and also the above mentioned "Drive in Classics". Look for them at your retail outlets.

Any thoughts on Funeral Home?

I read The Flesh Farm's review of it,but haven't ever crossed path's with it.Out of curiosity, were there any good kills in it?

I watched it and from what I remember it was basically a reworking of Psycho. I think it was okay but I can't recall much about it. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Nothing that really jumps out at you as far as kills go. And it did kind of rework the Psycho element, but so many films have I dont think it really took away from the fun of it.

Other films from those 50 movie dvd packs of note might be "Dont Look in the Basement":D

"Creeper" starring a young Jennifer Connolly.

"Track of the Moonbeast"

"Snowbeast"

Just a few off the top of my head.:)
