NOTE: I realize this has nothing to do with celebs but is probably 100x more interesting.

I wonder if he started singing...

"Whose house? Run's house. I said whose house? Run's house."

That is seriously fucked up and this guy is definitely psychotic in some way. To act perfectly normal one minute and then to chop a guy's head off...

I feel so sorry for the poor guy that he killed. Who would think that somebody could do something like that to a person they didn't even know?

Why would you watch someone repeatedly get stabbed then run to the front and tell the driver to stop? DO SOMETHING

Because 99.9% of people don't care about anyone but themselves and wouldn't help a dying man on a busy broad daylight sidewalk.

Yet if this was a scene in a movie, a lot of schmoes here would think it was totally awesome.

e/d: Though I do love that the generic human reaction to someone being attacked is 'arggh run away', not 'there's someone being attacked, let's help him'.

Given the shocking nature of what was happening, I would think many people would simply too stunned that it was actually happening in time to make an immediate impact on the situation.

It's not as if this was argument that escalated into a fight.

And, in all fairness, just like you shouldn't bring a knife to a gunfight... same goes for bringing fists to a knife fight. Unless someone else had a bigger knife or a gun, anyone else getting involved would have only guaranteed more corpses.
Sad.

This is Eli Roth's fault.

But seriously, this is horrible. Not much anyone else could do. I mean, if the guy had a big knife with him, I sure as shit wouldnt of done anything other than to save my own ass.

Call me sick, but... but ever since I was a child and Columbine happened, I've always daydreamed how I would step up in a deadly situation.
In this particular situation I would have went for the bus fire extinguisher, sprayed the fucker down, and then beat him with the tank.
And the weird thing is, that was my first thought when I heard this story; like instantly, as soon as the story was described I thought, "Damn I would have used the bus fire extinguisher on his ass".
I know it's impossible to predict how you would act in certain situations but I just don't know, whenever I hear about this type of stuff I naturally think to myself, "How would I have stopped it??... Oh yeah, by doing this or doing that"
Chances are, I might puss out but I like to think when the time comes, the ultimate badass will come out.

Wow dude. That's very fucked up. I like to think I would do something, but I probably wouldn't

Well, if you could do it. You can sneak up behind someone like that, sounds like he was pretty busy stabbing this guy, and jam your fingers into his eyes. It doesnt take much pressure to push eyes out of the sockets. Not that I have ever done it.

Try to take down a guy wielding a Rambo-sized hunting knife? I might be compelled if there was a large weapon within arm's reach, otherwise... I think I would have stood there petrified for a moment, like this guy did.

This happened close to where I live. It is really disturbing.

Things like this I always think its easier to say what you would do in the situation. I'd like to say I'd go all Chuck Norris on the guys ass... but who knows what we would do in a situation like this.

Sorry, but this sounds really fucking bad and really disturbing. I don't think this belongs on anywhere in here in the first place. Would be best if Lindsey can delete or close this thread.

Not to sound like a pussy, but that made me nauseous. I gotta go watch something nice, happy and funny now after reading that shit. Seriously, that's just fucking beyond horrible.

Can't say it made me sick but still, pretty horrible. I can't believe the things some people do to other human beings.

Well the way he described it, at least in the news interview, he watched him stab the guy repeatedly for a while before going to the driver and telling him to stop the bus. 37 people on this bus and you're telling me two of them don't have enough balls to subdue this guy? He wasn't acting crazy or screaming or anything.

I'm almost as disgusted by the witnesses here as I am by the perp.

This is quite disturbing indeed, and I do appreciate the contribution to the forum Sonny! But... I'm going to have to agree with dennisv and close this thread up since it's not really the best place to discuss this topic.

Thanks for understanding! :o
