LOS ANGELES - The battle over a sex tape featuring Verne Troyer has reignited after that actor sued his ex-girlfriend for $20 million, claiming she allowed snippets of the tape to be released.
Troyer’s lawsuit also claims that ex-girlfriend Ranae Shrider was abusive and inflicted emotional distress on the “Austin Powers” actor.
The new lawsuit comes roughly two weeks after Troyer settled with a porn distributor and broker and successfully blocked the release of the 50-minute tape of him and Shrider having sex. The new suit, filed Thursday in U.S. District Court, is an outgrowth of that original claim.
If he needs the money this bad, just let the movie come out. This is what you get when you make a homemade porn movie. By now, everyone knows the risks you take when you do these things. If I were him I would be proud. If he weren't Mini Me, he isn't getting a woman anywhere near as hot as Ranae is. She should spite him and release it on the internet now that he blocked the sale of the tape. I like the last line of this part of the story, "outgrowth". Did the person write it that way on purpose?
