Day time television at its best! She made that guy look like a complete idiot! I love that judge though, she's a feisty one for sure. Although Judge Judy will always been my favorite Judge of all time. Now she is cool! :cool:

That's hot... I saw it when it was on TV... my mom always watches that show (which is funny cause shed be the last person you would think to watch a court show.)

Well obviously she was just showboating for the cameras, but very much UNLIKE Judge Judy, I found her tirade to be almost, arousing...;)

I must ask, is this judge married?? If not, I'd like to have a discussion in her private chambers to discuss, uh, legal issues...:D

Judge Milian was a judge in Florida before she went on this show. Most of these people were former judges, now they get paid even better.

Not sure where the actor comment comes into play?

Haha that was funny but very unprofessional on her part. I wonder what part of that Miami law school taught her to lose her temper in the courtroom. :D

It was probably for the money. I am sure she made a lot from being a judge, but being on a shown that will be seen by millions, lots of money to be made. Then you have the whole thing were the cases are pretty simple, so you need to do little work.

Hey, if I was a judge, people offered me a lot of money to do a show with little money, I would be down in a second.

Of course she's showboating for the cameras... but that's her job. She also has to act the role to keep people watching. I say good for her.

Yeah, I watch that show pretty regularly and hadn't seen that clip. I was already working out a response in my head that would drop in that I'd already seen it, but hey whatta surprise.

I don't think it was that unprofessional of her, because she is working under different conditions than a non-TV judge. It was probably wise of her to set that sort of example to her audience, to let them know that they weren't going to come on the show and outtalk her on law.

You look at her peers, she is wayyy more restrained than Judge Judy. Even the old People's Court Judge, Judge Wapner has trash talked Judge Judy for being unprofessional. Judge Joe steps down on people like that all the time, but I think he's on medication or something and is just feeling too heavy to move or get excited. Judge Mathis does it laughing in people's faces and making jokes about being stoned.

Didn't Dave Navarro confess to having the hots for her or was that some weird dream I had?

Since when is being amused, entertained, critical or turned on synonymous with being impressed?

I'm pretty sure I know where you're coming from, but a lot of other schmoes have already addressed this in a manner conducive to a discussion. If you want to lay out your 2 cents, I for one would love it, but I don't think we are going to go anywhere if we start giving our own interpretations of why people like something, and respond based solely on that.

I think a majority of the posters here have either commented that they think she's hot, or unprofessional. My response compared her to other court judges, and very few have offered defense.

You can do a "movie style" rant all your own, and even wear a judges robe and be on TV when you do it --- but the fact is that JJ probably isn't going to think you're as hot as this judge.
