THE LONGSHOTS looks mighty shitty, I do dig Ice Cube's Walter Payton jersey though.

The dumb joke "Ain't the only girl on the team no mo!" made this lady crack up in front of me in Hancock. The whole group I was with cracked up. This movie looks so terrible.

I can't lie. I'm actually looking forward to this. I enjoy sports movies and this one looks corny but affecting.

Sonofabitch.

I'll bet everyone a $100 that Durst's next film will star Jonathan Davis. :D

if you had told me 10 years ago Ice Cube of NWA, and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit would be at the core of a Family movie, i would have shat in your mouth and kicked you in the stomach

Yo, on the real, I'm getting more laughs from thedudeman69's *shakes head* 'DAMN!!' repeat than the trailer for this hackneyed poor excuse of a film.

I would have loved to be in the room when some white guy told Ice Cube he could cross over to kid friendly movies and be loved by all of America. This used to be a seriously angry and violent type rapper and then one day he went all Will Smith on us. From Boyz in the Hood to The Longshots. WOW!

This is why America is awesome. God bless America. Good for him. He was aweomse in Higher Learning.

Saw the film...it wasn't bad.

If its on the Starz channel and you have nothing to watch, it's definitely worth checking out. I enjoy sports films and this one is a pretty decent one. Something I liked as I watched the film, was that I felt that it didn't matter whether the team won or lost -- I just wanted to find out what the characters would learn from it. And you know -- I wasn't disappointed.

I had no idea that Limp Bizkit directed the film until the closing credit. Immediately afterward, I was like "did it really say Fred Durst??" Sure enough -- it really was the same Durst. The film was competently done. I got no hate on him.

No one goes to this movie expecting that it would change their lives. If you just watch the film, you see a pretty compelling story. And that's ultimately why I watch movies. If you see it on TV or the rental shelf...consider giving it a chance.
