That film was full steam ahead and a massive petition erupted all over the net, shortly after the movie was scrapped along with the script (which was what the petition was mainly against). McG blames his fear of flying for the reason the movie did not get made, yeah, he lies a lot. Abrams blames Ain't It Cool News (who placed the petition in a headline).
