NOOO!!! Julius J.Carry III, who played Sho'nuff in "The Last Dragon," has passed away at the age of 56. Julius died of complications from pancreatic cancer on Tuesday in his Studio City, CA home.

Julius has nearly 60 TV and film credits to his name, but his role as The Shogun of Harlem is what he became most famous for.

He is survived by his wife, mother and brother.

Rest in peace, Julius. You'll always be the baddest mofo low down around this town!

Has not been a good month if you happen to be a black celebrity. I did not know Julius did so much work after The Last Dragon. Cancer is a bitch.

When I was younger I was convinced Sho'Nuff was wrestler Booker T.

Still, he had to be my favorite of the cheesy 80's karate movie villains.

RIP Julius

Lord Bowler is dead!? God dammit! Or, as he would say, "DAAAAAY-ummmm!"

He was a wonderful partner/foil for Bruce Campbell on the criminally short-lived The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr and was great on both the similarly short-lived Doctor, Doctor and Murphy Brown.

Fuck :(

Wow! There was a black actors thread a few years back, and i listed him as one of the people I wanted to see more of. That's too bad. I had no idea he was involved with Brisco Co. --- I ignored that show when it aired, and keep regretting it more and more.
