Starring: The usual dumbasses who star in these shitty movies... and Tony Cox playing Indiana Jones.

Rated PG-13 for crude and sexual content throughout, language, drug references and comic violence.

Runtime: 90 minutes

Meet the Spartans was without a fucking doubt the absolute worst movie I have ever seen. It doesn't even qualify as a movie. And the sad thing is, this movie actually looks worse. :(

I just glad that people I like or people that have some talent stopped appearing in these films. Spartans and this is made up of mostly unfunny people who are or were cast members on Mad TV along with a few D-listers like Carmen Electra, Tony Cox, and Kim Kardashian. Whereas, Date Movie had Alyson Hannigan, Eddie Griffin (Who can be humorous at times), Fred Willard, and Judah Friedlander. And, Epic Movie had Kal Penn, Darrell Hammond, Fred Willard again (Damn, he should fire his agent), David Carradine, Kevin McDonald (Of Kids In The Hall), and Crispin Glover of all people.

The only one of these I saw was Date Movie and after that I was done with PG-13 spoof movies forever.

Painful does not equal funny; a kick in the crotch or getting hit by a large vehicular object, repeated over and over, becomes boring, and physical body harm and skewering of limbs (trying not to think of breakdancing leading into neckbreaking in Meet the Spartans) becomes repulsive. There's a difference between when it's done well and just done pointlessly and without craft, since I'm not one to bitch about this stuff usually.

For the good of cinema and our collective sanity, please bar anyone you know from seeing this (but do not lock them in a dungeon, it raises hairy legal questions).

Hopefully, the deserved flopping of this heinous atrocity will finally convince studios that Seltzer and Frieberg are not the kind of people you want to encourage in the film business (Uwe Boll survives b/c of his unlimited slush fund). If they have't already, the various guilds should expel them and blacklist them (they probably crossed picket lines during the writers' strike in order to come up with this atrocity).

I ended up seeing this on watch-movies.net. I NEVER watch bootleg movies on the internet while they're still in theaters, but this had to be an exception. Not only are these movies really bad, but each one is more and more boring than the next one. I have to admit though, I did find it funny when Michael Jackson popped out of the Speed Racer trunk with the monkey and the little kid... But then again... I didn't realize Speed Racer was a disaster movie.
