I have Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger in my possession, but I'm anxious to send it back without watching it (Netflix sent the wrong film). I'm not big on sword-and-sandal flicks, though I love Jason and the Argonauts. Is it worth popping in?

Pop that badboy in. The Sinbad movies are a great watch. The stop motion animation is worth the look alone. Come to think of it they should really make a new Sinbad adventure.

If only it posesses the greatness of the Mighty Lou Ferrigno...

Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger was my least favorite. The Golden Voyage and the 7th Voyage are kick ass though. Good stories with some great stop motion F/X. There is also enough action and monster fighting. So they arent boring. If you like the Jason movie you like those Sinbad movies. Caroline Munro is in Golden Voyage.

I didnt know Ferrigno played Sinbad. I know he did Hercules.

Also check out Clash of the Titans if you never did.

For me, Clash of the Titans was middle-of-the-road fare. The creatures were cool, but the acting was stiff and I couldn't swallow the affected rendering of Mount Olympus.

Did you ever catch up on there, dude? I have all of Ray Harryhausen's movies.

There's nothing quite like them, and there never will be.

Watch The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. Golden Voyage is good, and Eye of the Tiger is probably the least of the three, but still alot of fun.

That was The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1974).

Since you posted in 2008, you probably already made your decision. But I'm new here so I'll give my 2 cents anyway. Yes! I agree with the others that out of the 3 it is the weakest, but still definitly worth watching. and if you're a Jane Seymour fan (totally in love with her), then it's absolutely woth it. The creatures are always great and the villain hams it up good. Plus, John Wayne's son plays Sinbad! yeah ok, weird casting I know but his dad once played Gengis khan so this isn't any worse. Check it out!
