Shit, I misread the thread title...yeah, I was rating performances...GAH!

Um, my ratings are pretty much the same anyway...except I'd give Hannibal and The Fifth Element 5/10 (I kinda liked the gross-out scene), Dracula 6/10 and maybe drop the likes of Leon and Track 29 a mark or two.

i thought the fifth element was quite good fun
don't much like that jfk or that oliver stone

i kinda think oldmans best role has yet to come. i see him playing a father trying to track down his missing drug addicted daughter in peru helmed by someone like inarritu or kerrigan

i can't give 10's, a 9 is the best on my rating scale. it's kinda like the scene in spinal tap with the amp. the thought of putting a 10 makes me feel queezy

That is indeed one awesome filmography, a great shame he didn't do more as he was brilliant. The Conversation is an interesting choice for best performance though, I don't recall him being particularly outstanding. In The Godfather Part 2 he is astonishing though, he was robbed of an oscar nom in my opinion. The "IT AIN'T THE WAY I WANTED IT!" scene with Pacino is effective every time.

it's a small role but it's handled with such subtle class. rewatch the scene where harry (hackman) bumps into stan (cazale) character at the spy convention, it's a masterclass in acting

i love him in both godfather films and he did indeed deserve the oscar
