For me, it would be George Lucas in general.... what a fool.
But as far as specific movies,
1. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Douche
2. X-Men 3: The Last Douche
3. Spider-Man 3.... douche?

Come and See
Most Goddard movies I see. I keep watching them though, because I always feel like one will end up being great, or that I should just because of the guy's rep. Vivre Sa Vie is the only one I might consider great. The rest are very good maybe, at best, alot are mediocre and some are bad. Still, there's a bunch I feel like I should see.

What is this hatred toward Indy 4, yes the alien subplot was stupid and Shia LaBeouf is a total douche, but fuck it Harrison Ford rocked the house!!!! As I said earlier, try finding fault with Temple of Doom, that is the weakest Indy movie.

The Hudsucker Proxy
What? Strange Days and The Hudsucker Proxy are awesome! I agree with you on Alexander, though. What a steaming pile of shit that was.
The only one I can think of right now is Pineapple Express. It was by no means a bad movie but after seeing The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Superbad I thought this one was going to be much better than it was.

Just because it's a classic doesn't mean I'm going to like it. I'm sure you dislike a fair share of movies I consider great.

As of recent...The Departed and Juno. Two hyped up movies that I thought completely sucked.

i understand if you disliked em but were you psyched for tarkovsky in the first place? what other of his flicks had you seen that you loved? mirrors was pretty good with the shots and all, andrei rublev put me to sleep.
i guess i'd classify a big disappointment as a film i had really been looking forward to seeing, seen the directors other works and enjoyed em but watched the film and it ultimately let me down, something new i had been anticipating. unless you were born in the 50's it can't have been that disappointing watching stalker, you just didn't like the flick much
the recent films you listed i agree all sucked. aint seen tropic thunder, i didn't laugh in the trailer which is not a good sign

I just thought of another one, Clerks II!
Now, I'm a big Clerks fan and an even bigger Kevin Smith fan but Clerks II was so bland to me. There were a handful of truly hilarious moments, I'll give it that but it paled in comparison to the first installment. I had high hopes but was let down, unfortunately.

Back to the Future 2 and 3. Wanted so much more...
The Prequels. Episode 1 was the worst though. I wanted a lot more from these movies as well.
The Dark Knight. I was more excited about Watchmen's trailer than all of TDK.
Not that I was expecting brilliance but I was really let down by Jason Takes Manhattan. I wanted him there...as stupid as it would have been.

For me, a movie with just a generally great reputation and an interesting sounding plot can get me just as excited for a movie as a good trailer or a great director.

It's been said before, but Spider-Man 3 seriously made me lose respect for Sam Raimi. Considering the source material he had to work with, it's amazing how many things that movie does wrong.
Also, The Happening... I know many people hated it, but I liked the previews and I heard other people raving about it, so I seriously thought it was going to bring Shyamalan back to the big leagues. But cool deaths and some cool shots don't compensate for the other ridiculous scenes (Mark Wahlberg talking to a plastic plant, and what the hell was up with that old lady?) or the absolutely shitty dialogue.

"Signs" is pretty much the only movie I've seen over the last 6 years in which I was genuinely disappointed. I did see "The Village" and liked that one better, but it was still nothing special...and I had zero expectations for it. I didn't even bother with "Lady in the Water" or "The Happening." M. Night Shyamalan = One-Trick Pony.

4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days... mostly because of all the hype. i didn't have much of an emotional reaction to the film.
Crash.. racism at its most elementary and uncreative.
Boondock Saints.. just an over-fluffed action flick with high-school jock substance.
