Moments In Trailers That Give You Chills

I was just watching the trailer for Defiance and at the beginning when you hear Hitler's voice in the background and then it fades into a group of Jewish people listening to the radio while the Nazi's cheer, it gave me crazy chills. Then it made me think that there are plenty of moments in trailers that give me chills.

What moments in trailers give you the chills?

The part in the Elephant trailer when the killer stops playing the piano abruptly, the title comes, and the girl kisses the kids cheek.

Also the montage of images in Shotgun Stories after the line "anything happens to one of my brothers and i'll come after all of you." wonderful music.

For Cold Mountain, whenever Renee Zellwegger spurted out that "It's rainin!" line, it always gave me chills.

And in the trailer for The Dark Knight, that final note at the end had me shivering.

For some reason, at the end of the Rendition trailer, when Reese Witherspoon screams whatever the fuck she says, it always gave me chills. Even though its embarrassingly over the top.

Harry Potter 5 teaster...call me a nerd, but that tralier was astounding...build up, build up, more score and effects and then cut to silence and black..."You will loose...everything..."...and then the quiet main theme on piano...brrr.

The final moments for the Miracle at St. Anna tralier "I know..."

The smile Wonka gives Charlie in the tralier for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" got me as well...

The Sin City tralier...all of it...great, great tralier.

The Lion King teaser...

When Tarantino says "action" over the Kill Bill tralier...that one got me too.

At the end of the Silent Hill trailer when you can hear the main theme from the videogame.

In the Magnolia trailer, when the music picks up, and the montage gets faster, intercut with the guy on the TV crew for the game show counting down, then doing that waving thing with his finger as it cuts to black and the music gets all dramatic. Then just the rest of the trailer, with the music, and the whole "Things Fall Down," "People Look Up," "And When It Rains, It Pours." That's probably the best trailer ever.

The Sin City, when the guitar riff kicks in and you see the car going off the road.

Assassination of Jesse James, when the music picks up and and the guy jumps off the stage, and Brad Pitt's all like "I see my red hands, and my mean face, and I wonder about that man that's gone so wrong." That's another generally amazing trailer, though.

Lots of moments in the Paprika trailer.

Children of Men, when Hoppipola by Sigur Ros starts playing, specifically the shot where Clive Owen is crying up against the tree with the cigarette in his mouth.
