Let's talk about Ed Wood. Baby. Let's talk about you and me.
Sorry. I have the Ed Wood box set that contains five of his films. It also includes a comprehensive documentary that is worth a watch, if I do say so myself. Of course, Tim Burton's Ed Wood is captivating. What are your favorites? Thoughts? Opinions? Hip-hop lyrics?

Shitty filmmaker, but his incompetance helped his films (especially Plan 9) achieve a surrealist quality second to none for films of the era and (attempted) genre....:D

Tim Burton's Ed Wood is one of the best comedies of all time and no doubt his greatest masterpiece. Ed Wood himself I can't say so much for, except that he also made some of the greatest comedies of all time...

I have yet to see a single film by Ed Wood. I can however speak for Tim Burton's Ed Wood. That film is one of the greatest films of all time (yeah, I went that far) and just made Ed Wood as a person just so damn captivating.

Last year I caught a midnight showing of Plan 9 at the Arts Cinema near my house. I gotta say it was one of the best times I've ever had at the movies.

Ed Wood is my favorite film (among many, but this one stands out especially). I have in fact seen Bride Of The Monster and Plan 9. I had a good time with them, I know many of us do. They are pieces of shit though which isn't a secret either.
I might come back and touch a little more on this as I adore Ed Wood (by Tim Burton) and I agree with Zombievictim... it is one of the best films ever made.

I have to ask, what is the plot of Plan 9?I know that it involves extraterrestrials of some sort, but any other detail is beyond me.

I really think that watching Tim Burton's Ed Wood (which somehow got Johnny Depp robbed of a nod), makes you appreciate these films much more. I love how much heart he had in making the movies no matter how bad they were. Plan 9 is pretty shittastic :D

It's about grave robbers from outer space. The film's original title was actually Grave Robbers From Outer Space.
