Comedy, horror, action, crime, war, sci-fi... Westerns? I'm running out of genres now. A 'red' western is an obscure subgenre, a western made in the old Communist bloc.

'Classic' western: Rio Bravo
Native Americans: Last of the Mohicans
Epic: The Good the Bad and the Ugly
Spaghetti Western: The Good the Bad and the Ugly
Sci-fi western: Star Wars A New Hope (the scenes on Tatooine?)
B-Western: Captain Apache
Revisionist western: Tombstone (not sure what revisionist means in this context, but whatever)
Comedy western: Shanghai Noon
Contemporary western: Desperado
'Red' Western: White Sand of the Desert

I haven't seen nearly enough westerns to pull this off.

'Red' Western: no quite sure what you mean, but I'm going to throw in She Wore a Yellow Ribbon because John Ford used some kickass cinematography in that movie.
