Battle in Seattle (http://www.movietrailerlive.com/ct_0005_BattleinSeattle) stars Woody Harrelson as a tough cop, Ray Liotta as the Mayor of Seattle, and Charlize Theron as a pregnant retail sale clerk that's bludgeoned while running in the crowd. The Stuart Townsend feature film is a dramatization of the real 1999 WTO protests in Seattle.
In December 1999 the media covered the protests against the World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in Seattle, but most people had no idea how violent this event really was..
I personally don't believe globalization can be stopped, however I was impressed with how this movie actually empowers audiences by showing them what's possible...
This movie asks: do protests have to be violent to work?
