Forgot all about this one. The cast isn't nearly as huge but there are talented players on board. I wasn't really hip to the last film but i did read both books when they were popular and Angels & Demons was by far the more interesting.

The poster itself is interesting. Its a statue thats half angel, half demon. I hope they learned from the mistakes they made in the last film and make a solid thriller this time out.

I liked the first one. Definitely looking forward to this one.

The book was a great read, here's hoping it translates well on screen.

Couldnt get into The Da Vinci Code novel or film. I like the premise of Angels and Demons so I might give it a read.

I thought this book was much better than Da Vinci Code. The poster is interesting, but doesn't exactly make me want to go out and see the movie.

I'll go see the movie, but not because of the poster.

I agree with some of the sentiments above. "Angels & Demons" is much more appealing to me as I felt the novel was rather superior to "Da Vinci Code".

I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code film, and found it to be vastly underrated. I can't say I'm exactly stoked for this, but I'll definitely be seeing it.

I like the poster... And I enjoyed reading Angels & Demons more than The Da Vinci Code.

I found "The Da Vinci Code" to be a rather disappointing movie, as I'm a fan of the book. All the excitement seemed to be sucked out. I always thought "Angels & Demons" would make a better movie, but with the same team involved, I'm nervous the same thing will happen.

I'm gonna give Ronny & Co. the benefit of the doubt for now.

I liked this book a lot more than Da Vinci Code, despite certain problems with the ending. It's still fairly generic but I think with some more energy than Da Vinci had, this could be a really entertaining movie. I'll wait until I see a trailer to comment.

For the record, I thought the Da Vinci movie was just all right, bordering on pretty good. Ultimately it was the novel's twists that failed the movie, not the craftsmanship behind it. So again I'm hoping that just based on the, IMO, higher quality of the source material this'll get knocked out of the park. And how much do I love Ewan McGregor? So much.

The Da Vinci Code attracted a lot of well-deserved trashing when it came out, probably attracted to it because of all the hype surrounding it. The same thing happened with the movie - it was a huge hit (naturally) but ravaged by critics, and rightfully so because it was a mediocre film at best based on a mediocre book at best. But words cannot describe just how much the novel Angels and Demons which I have read back in the day is WORSE than The Da Vinci Code. Seriously, the levels of idiocy and stupidity at present in this book underline the fact that it should never have been more than what it is; a piece of glorified, pulpy mystery fiction. The book is absolutely ATROCIOUS, and unless they change some key elements involved in the third act, I really don't see how the movie is goung to work at ALL.

The talent is still there - Hanks, etc - but really the only reason I have to be interested in this movie is Ayelet Zurer's second mainstream Hollywood studio work (after 2005's Munich), because she's a brilliant and amazing Israeli actress and I can only hope that she will have a prosperous career, even if it comes in place of quality.

Not too shabby. The first half was a little too corn-ball, but once they zipped into the action it was nice. Makes me remember some fine moments of the book, and will probably give it another crack before the release.

If you pause the trailer at just the right moment, the words "Altars of Science" appear written across the Illuminati ambigram, which points to this website. (http://www.altersofscience.com) (Someone's been taking notes from The Dark Knight virals, methinks.)

Everyone seems to be having a positive reaction to the trailer, and yet I can't help but remember the novel and just how much WORSE it was than The Da Vinci Code, not in terms of pretentiousness but in terms of the downright pulpy ridiculousness of the plot. Oh well, I suppose I'll give it a chance... besides, Hanks is practically my favourite actor and Ayelet Zurer is one of ours, so I'll see it for them :)

This movie will be beter than DVC.

Indeed it will. Not just because Tom Hanks no longer has that ridiculous hair cut, but the storyline is better.
