Apparently, a second MST3K movie was going to happen before the show was axed. The movie that was to be butchered was Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn. I would have loved to see that! It's strange that Troll 2 was never dissected by Mike/Joel and the bots. Perhaps it wasn't enough of a challenge.

I'm not sure I would have been happy with Evil Dead 2 showing up on MST3K. Like, part of the whole thing about MST3K is they take incredibly bad movies and just make them entertaining. Evil Dead 2 is a great movie and perfectly entertaining in it's own right.

I agree w/t LordSimen,I've never seen MST3K yet,but Dead By Dawn wouldn't have been a good choice.I'd like to see the recently sequelled Rest Stop: Dead Ahead butchered though, that film SUCKED!!!

There's actually a Rifftrax for this one, so your wish has come true. Here's a clip:

They did an Oscars special where they riffed on actual good movies for a few minutes that were nominated for best picture and they were just as hilarious as any regular episode they did. The Titanic one was fantastic.

Night of the Lepus definitely should've been on the list...unless they did that one and I missed it.
I know they reference it when they're "training" Mike to take over for Joel.
