So i was watching Freddy vs Jason again yesterday and i GOTTA know why, being a FredHead and all, Why the HELL was it one sided. Freddy got ONE FUCKING KILL!!!! Why was this that way? Its just sad that out of ALL scripts they had to pick the one where the guy who BUILT New Line gets in one kill and seems like a bully on a "Good Guy" jason. It STILL boggles my mind!

Wasn't it more that Freddy was Manipulating Jason into doing the majority of the kills so that people would start to believe in him again?

Yup. The entire plotline is freakin' TRIGGERED by Freddy. What I find funny is back when the movie was first released, everyone was pissed off about it being one sided FOR Freddy.

Honestly I think the movie is incredibly fair towards both characters.

Yeah Freddy drives Jason to kill...just like he did to the character in Nightmare 2 (even though I think that one sucked)

I agree that Freddy vs. Jason was one-sided. It was 70% bullshit and 30% "Freddy vs. Jason." An astoundingly mediocre film.

Though I loved it,Freddy VS Jason is VERY one-sided.I believe Jason kills over twenty people,Freddy gets one?Englund really made up for it with his performance though.

Haha. I rewatched it and i agree with that now. haha.

But i know he TRIGGERS it but i wanted to see HIM do some. Shoulda split it. And come to think of it, trigger my ass, jason just did what we've seen him do for over 20 years scene after scene. I dunno, just wasnt necessary to be THAT one sided. haha

It is one sided, but Freddy pretty much wooped Jasons ass. Blow for blow, Freddy won the fight.

I love this movie:D

*Major Spoilers*

I love how they both died at the end,I watched this last night,my only complaint {Besides Freddy only getting one kill,and trying to justify Jason's actions.}is the lead girl,Lori.

FACTOID:At the very end of the film,it has been enteirtained that Freddy and Jason are in Heaven,but I don't believe this was proven either way.I believe it.

Ya i agree with you. Lori was ANNOYING as FUCK.

and by the way, i finally remember my main argument. Freddy Kills jason, jason pops up stabs freddy then DIES in the water. Freddy is STILL alive. THEN... THEN... OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE by lori who chops his head off. THEREFORE DQ, DRAW!!! haha

Yea,they should have had never had Jason jump out of the water,and Lori shouldn't have been the one to decap Krueger.There were so many likeable characters in that film that all died yet SHE lived!!?Who would have liked to see 'Dater Dork',or the cop replace her?Even Kelly Rowlan came off much better than that twat!

Hmm I thought Lori was one of the stronger girls in a Jason movie. I liked her.

I absolutely agree here. Everything about lori was annoying. Didnt have depth like in a nightmare film, more of plain Friday 13th character that over acts. haha

To be honest... when a debut actress from and RnB group out acts the rest of the cast, the casting director needs to never work in the business again :P

Lori was super annoying and I loved Rowlands character... go figure :D

I very much agree, I think that Katharine should have had the lead role, she rocked in Ginger Snaps, not some WB drama queen who had guest appearances in Dawson's Creek.
