We'll since everyone has been making these threads I decided to jump in on the fun (even thoghu I've made them before). So this will be the thread where you post thoughts, comments, reviews, or whatever the fuck you want. I for one will be seeing it opening day (I hope)...

I can't wait for July 19th. This movie looks like a fun mix of scares and comedy. The way it's being marketed is hillarious. I hope the end result is better than Bats and makes loads of money for what is a relatively cheap film ($30 million).

I want to see it but I haven't seen a single trailer or TV spot for it. Hopefully I'll see one soon.

You know, today, a movie club I joined about two months ago e-mailed me, and invited me to an advance screening to see this flick on July 17th (talk about advance, huh?). I have until July 10th to respond, but I don't think I'm gonna go.

This movie club gurantees it's members only one advance screening per year. So I don't really think I should blow it on a movie like Eight Legged Freaks. I rather wait for something better.

Anyway, this flick looks so stupid, and it looks way too much like the p.o.s. known as Bats. Unless I can get in for free, I probably won't check this film out.

One thing it has that Bats didn't have is producers Roland Emmerich and Dan Devlin of Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Patriot (Mel Gibson) fame. Btw, what club did you join Strider?

Aint gettin my money, all the advertisements make it look like yet another comedy 'horror' movie...screw that I'm SICK of them....
