I have heard and read rumors of a Halo movie being produced and dropping august 5th 2010-2011. It starts off telling the story of how everything came to be (based like halo 1) The comander and chief (Christian bale),or John Cena. take the idea to help destroy a race of aliens known as the covenant.

Im not sure if this is true but maybe ya'll could find out more on wikipedia...

I heard that the Halo film that almost got off the ground with Peter Jackson producing and Neill Blomkamp directing is DEAD. Stone cold dead.

Damn, that sounds horrible. I don't know who told you this, but I'm willing to bet they are full of... something inappropriate.

As MisterChristian said, the Peter Jackson produced project-that-almost-was has been shot dead, treaded upon, and buried.

I remember the rumors that were saying Denzel Washington was going to play Master Chief. They should make a animated film first just like Antimatrix and Gotham Knights, to see how the audience will except it. Than they can work their way from there.

If they don't make a live action flick I think they should try doing a cgi film like the new Resident Evil or Advent Children. Lets face it if they did a live action film Master Chief would end up looking like a Power Ranger (having to use hand gestures to show emotion) I don't think I could buy a ticket to see that.

it isnt deaded....just on the backburner. Trust me, peter jackson loves this universe and maybe its a good thing their waiting....cuz we might see a peter jackson directed halo!

Oh god, I hope not. Besides Jackson will be busy finishing The Lovely Bones, prepping a Tintin movie with Steven Spielberg and helping del Toro on The Hobbit...

I know 15 guys with 360s, 12 of which have gotten the RRoD, and 8 of which were playing Halo 3 when it happened. Coincidence? I think not. :cool:
