Its funny I have ignored these guys for the longest time. I had Plans and I really enjoy it but for some reason it never really made me seek their other material.

A couple days ago I was bored at the CD store though and pciked up Narrow Stairs and Transatlantism(sp?) and was surprised at how good they were. I always kind of dismissed these guys as a forgettable emo band but both albums are great. In face I think they're much better than Plans (although I still like that album).

I'm so sick of "I Will Possess Your Heart" (haven't heard the rest of Narrow Stairs album)

I really like Transatlanticism. It remains my personal favorite album of the group. Gotta love "Tiny Vessels"

I have a copy of The Photo Album but never gave that a listen.

I figured I would be somewhat alone on this.

I love the way I Will Posses Your Heart builds. Fantastic song.

They have two albums that are pretty much perfect(Plans, Transatlanticism). Narrow Stairs is about half good, but its a step back. I much perfer The Photo Album over NS.

And I totally agree on getting sick on IWPYH. When the radio kept playing Soul Meets Body, it did not bother me, as I can still listen to that song over and over, but these stations really need to stop playing the new one, or choose another single. Its getting old. When therefor ruins the albums play to start to finish, as I will always from now on skip over track 2.

Brothers on a Hotel Bed, to me, is their best song.

You should. Its worth it just for Styrofoam Plates and A Movie Script Ending.

One of my favorite bands. Plans is an outstanding album and I love their new single "Cath." I haven't checked out the album yet.

I do like Plans too a lot. I just think Narrow Stairs and Trans. have a lot mroe edge to them whatever that means.

By the way I can;t listen to radio version of I Will Posses Your Heart simply becuase they CUT IT IN HALF. Seriously the build up is an essential part of the song.

Also for some reason Soul Meets Body really sets my teeth on edge.

I really dig these guys' studio work, but they are so fucking boring live. Just like, ugh, gun to head pull the trigger.

...and they have no business opening for Neil Young!

I have "Transatlanticism" and it`s alright. I just can`t get into them too much though. Something about the singer - his voice and lyrics just remind me too much of those pretentious whiny dudes that hang out at coffee houses and trendy pubs, writing poetry about their ex-girlfriends.

"A Movie Script Ending" is an awesome song, but I'm not much of a fan. I like The Postal Service a little bit more, but am not a fan either.
