I have to say he is the most overrated rapper ever. I am so sick and tired of people saying he's the best. I'm in Highschool and I always hear people claiming that Lil Wayn'e the best rapper of all time.

I absolutely hate him. Aside from sounding like a fucking chipmunk, he can't rap worth a shit. Now neither can I, but hey I'm not trying too. He writes the most shit lyrics and has absolutely no good lyrical raps. The only 2 songs I can think he wasn't extremely terrible in are Swagga like us (I didn't like his part) and My life, and in that he was just a backround singer.

I can't see why he gets so much praise when there are so many better rappers than him. Eminem, Kanye West(though he would be better if he didn't wine like a bitch), T.I, Quasimoto, Percee P, Young Jeezy, The Game, David banner, Ludacris and many more.

The same goes for Soulja shit stain, he's fucking terrible and needs to have his mouth taped shut. What the fuck is this Superman shit (though it's old), it's fucking annoying seeing people dancing to this and saying its great.

I didn't list some that haven't released album's in a while like Jay Z, Dr.Dre, Andre 3000, even 50 cent (though he isn't near being one of the best) he's better than Wayne.

Yeah he's overrated because he's far from the greatest rapper ever or alive or anything, but he does have some catchyass rhymes and a unique delivery (at times), (e.g. "I Feel Like Dying"). Did I mention he smokes blunts of grass constantly? That's a quality I really admire in someone.

Yep, I totally agree. The guy is a fraud with terrible lyrics that make NO sense.

He has made it known in interivews that he is addicted to cough syrup which probably adds to his retard level so no wonder he doesnt make any sense.

I hate that the Carter 3 is gettin so much credit and praise. People are putting it in the same category as The Chronic and Illmatc...disgraceful.

I'll be honest guys, I was WAY prejudice against this guy when I first heard of him earlier this year. I read a couple articles and laughed about how ridiculous he is, and then, actually listened to his music, and it really grows on you. Granted, I don't listen to rap (T.I., Kanye, old Eminem, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and now Lil Wayne are the only ones I can stand) but I think his music is really good. Sure, he's overpublicisized, but I'd argue that he's actually legitimately good.

I'm not sure, but I think his guitar was supposed to have heavy distortion for while he plays a lead line, but the distortion effect wasn't on, and anyone who knows a bit about guitars knows how that can turn out. Pretty funny. Check it out yerself -

It was reported around a year or 2 that Lil Wayne was gay and that picture was leaked and all of a sudden all these rappers he used to work with were coming forward with all this information about how they see him doing gay shit. Lil Waynes official statement on the matter was something like this "All true gangsters kiss men on the mouth"

I didn't take the picture as a kiss even. It looked to me like they were just really close in each others faces --- this probably sounds weird but I know a lot of guys that do this when trying to tell you something important to them. I'm sure other people have experienced this, like when saying goodbye, someone will pull you in and get really in your face (like they want to kiss ya) and say something like, "Thanks for helping me back there, man." --- kind of like something they don't want anyone else to hear...

That's funny if Lil' Wayne defended it as an actual kiss because I don't even think their lips are touching in the picture. If on that tip, it looks more like they are about to kiss.
