Ghoulies?

HAHA I am in deep nostalgia mode today. Anyone remember Ghoulies? This all started with the movie Shrunken Heads. Someone sent me the trailer to the new DVD release and it took me waaay back.

As big a fan as I was of the old Full Moon (the studio that made them) movies like puppet master and trancers, I completely forgot about Ghoulies until i looked up Full Moon on IMDb.

I barely remember it. But I did. Which means weed isn't as bad as they thought.

Ghoulies II rocks in the worst way possible. The first film isn't terrible, but the puppetry is incredibly lacking. John Carl Beuchler was never considered to be a special effects whiz, but shit, Miss Piggy looks realistic by comparison.

I`ll always have a soft spot for the first two. Part 3 is absolutley dreadful and I`ve never seen the apparently unrelated Part 4.

The first movie would`ve been GREAT for MST3K. Don`t believe me? Watch it again!

I always thought the original was pretty boring. But I havent seen it in years.

Part 2 was fun for more of a kids movie. It was good in like a Critters 2 or Troll kinda way.

Never saw 3 or 4.

So hilarious Mariska Hargitary from Law & Order is in the first one.

The 2nd one is a lot of fun.

Never saw the third and the fourth is horrendous.

the third Ghoulies movie is amazing.

I also really like part 2.

I have a weird soft spot for the first movie but it's not that good and it's a bit boring but still I lkinda like it.

part 4 is retarded and makes me sad.
