So whenever I watch a Zombie movie i find that i always, to a degree, want to be there. I mean sitting on a roof shooting zombies would be fun, right? Well what zombie flicks do you guys think DON'T have that effect. Wherein the situation just totally sucks, no roofs to shoot from, no ammo, super powered zombies etc...

everyone is going to say Return of the Living Dead. Those fuckers cant be stopped. 28 days later is 3rd to 28 weeks later, its bad enough you got zombies to worry about, but military snipers as well? nice.

id hate to be in any flick where the zombies r like world class sprinters.im not the slowest,but i hate running....i may be the laziest tho.

I love zombies movies to death...sorry. But the other night some cat came into my driveway (next to my room) and was moaning just like a zombie, it was like a dying cat in heat...never heard anything like that from a cat. Anyways, i got th shit scared off me thinking a cat was a zombie (or a drunk..). Then and there i realised, hey, i guess zombies would suck in reality. Bummer eh.

Has anyone read Max Brooks novel The Zombie Survival Guide? I recently went to one of his lectures like the day before Halloween and got a signed copy.

Its everything you should do for a real zombie outbreak. Not the stuff that the movies tell you.

Hee. Yeah, I always day dream about a real zombie invasion and weigh the realities with the fantasies.

It's really the only way for this world to go.

Might be a bummer to be stuck in the party in Dead Alive - the zombies are pretty much confined to that bit and the folks there aren't left to the best of fates.

I love that book so very much. I wasn't expecting it to be that thorough.

It was a pain in the arse trying to find it in the bookstore. When I reluctantly asked one of the sellers he laughed at me. :D

Totally wouldn't want to be in ROTLD. You can't burn 'em, you can't cut 'em up, damage to the spinal cord/brain does nothing.


Also wouldn't want to be in Day of the Dead...too many undead and jackasses with weapons entrusted with my physical well-being.

I was really, really glad when the zombies ripped Captain Rhodes & Co. apart like sides of beef. I was tired of watching them play schoolyard bully to weaponless people who were half their size.

Quarantine for pseudo zombies . They were trapped inside an apartment complex with mutants out for blood and the military wouldn't let them leave .

The Beyond or maybe Cotld . The ones in Cotld could show up anywhere , you really had no chance and the ones in the Beyond , well , it wasn't so much the zombies that were unsettling it was the fact that the only way out of the situation was through the gates of hell , fekked either way .


For Demon inspired zoms , i would go with Demons , trapped inside a movie theater with homicidal demons looking to tear some shiite up .

The original RotLD(2nd and 3rd to a lesser degree) for pretty much the same reasons above posters have said. Sadly, the continuity of the zombies has been damaged in pretty much every sequel(2nd:they got slow, 3rd:bite could make someone a zombie, and lets not even get into the jokes that were in 4 and 5).

The Romero zombies from the original trilogy were so inept that they weren't even the main antagonists of the movie. All 3 movies were a man vs man based conflict with zombies being an environmental hazard.

Amen to that..I would much rather be able to run a little,stop take a few out then get moving again instead of having to haul ass everytime a zombie gets close.

Zombi 3 and 4 would likewise be horrible zombie movies to end up in. In the former, you would just end up dying to the government "decontamination" squads. In the latter, the re-animated merc zombies could shoot guns very accurately.......and the movie had no plot whatsoever.

I would be in the ROLD series, mainly part 2. Just so I could shut that Loud ass douche bag cunt mother fucker up. Hes in the 1st 2 I think and in the second one he gets bit and is turing but they take like the whole movie for him to turn and hes in the car just yelling like crazy and in the hospital doing the same thing.

My God! I almost lost it watching that movie, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
