Three New Songs From William Reid

William Reid (of The Jesus & Mary Chain fame) has posted three new songs on his myspace site that could possibly end up on the forthcoming new album from the band (i'm indulging in conjecture). As a long time fan of The Mary Chain i'm always hungry for new material and if these songs are representative of the quality of the material they have been working on then i'm pretty excited. Mood Rider is first class and while the other two don't quite match it's excellence they are both very good. New songs plus the recent The Power of Negative Thinking box set (collecting together rarities and b-sides). Mary Chain fans are being spoiled at the moment.
