Wow is this a fun movie, Crispen Glover kills it, it moves at a great pace, and has amazing gore gags. plus the suicide girls make this an evan more enrertaining watch. theres only some minor flaws do to budget restraints probally but otherwise a good movie.
all in all 8/10

I saw the original last year but have yet to see the remake. I didn't care much for it but since the remake has Crispin Glover that just about makes it better by default. Glad you made this topic since I haven't really heard much about it and was a bit curious. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I haven't seen the remake yet, but I love the original. It's my favorite H.G. Lewis flick. I wish I could watch it at a drive-in theater.

Outside of Glover, this remake blew monkey balls. It was just one huge confusing mess.

I actually kind of liked this...much more than I thought I would.
Crispin Glover is great as always, as is Brad Douriff in his surprisingly important role.
The biggest problem with the movie (besides the bland male lead) is that this is hardly really a remake of the HG Lewis movie. Besides Montag The Magnificent himself (who ends up not even having very much to do with anything), the remake has very little resemblance to the original, and actually turns into a mindfuck film, almost like a horror version of "Dark City".
Not what people would be expecting.

I will say this...the remake doesn't even lick the ass of the original.
