View Full Version : Need to know if this is something else before i buy it

I think it may be the original Prom Night; but in the beginning there's these kids on a roof and they are playing around which turns into an attack of some sort and then one of them falls to their death somehow. It seemed like a pretty elaborate beginning.

That's all I can remember but is this Prom Night or is there something else similar or better that has that peak late 70's/early 80's feel to it?

I don't think they were playing around on a roof in Prom Night. There were a bunch of kids taunting a girl in school and she ended up falling out of a window from what I remember. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen. Does that ring any bells? Also if you remember anything about an extensive disco prom during the finale then yes, it is Prom Night. Well the end with the disco I remember. Its the beginning I'm hazy on.
But I definitely remember kids on a roof and one falls off.


Does anybody know what else this could be? I remember seeing it on TV or something in like the late 80's/early 90's.

There are so many DVD and VHS versions of the original PROM NIGHT: buy the latest DVD release featuring the misleading cover art of JLC holding a bloody axe...complete with a quote from THE ARROW on it! I've owned about five versions of this slasher, and this was by far the best quality. Not as dark and grainy as many Schmoes have complained about over the years (including myself in the equation!)...

Enjoy...I'll always recommend this film!

It is PN, the kids were playing a game in an empty school and they surrounded a girl and backed her into a window ledge while shouting The Killer Is Coming and the little girl went through the window and fell down dead on the ground.
