I have been scared of baboons all of my life. And I just relished this movie I saw of a baboon terrorizing this group of people locked in a buliding.
Does anyone know what this is/was?
I seem to remember more than one movie like this.

Shakma?

Yeah, it sounds like Shakma. It's rather mediocre. The best "killer monkey" flick (aside from King Kong) is Link, which stars a young Elizabeth Shue. Track it down. It's a diamond in the rough.

Weren't they playing some dungeons and dragons type game in Shakma? Like they were all on mics hooked up to a DM giving them instructions or something, and a dude would walk into a science lab and the DM would be like: "you're in the cave of eternal peace, what do you do?" And the dude in the room would be like "I'm going to take the Sword of Achilles..>AGGHGHGHGGHGHG" as Shakma jumps down and rips off his face? Something like that?

How long do we have to wait for you to respond if this flick is Shakma or not?

Im with the count on this one, Link is the one that popped into my head first. The other killer monkey movie I can think of is George Romeros Monkey Shines which is excellent by the way.

I watched Shakma and Link recently, thought both were a lot of fun. Are there any more murderous monkey movies aside from the ones already mentioned?

Monkey Shines, but I'm sure you've already seen that one Chronos.... RIGHT?

Yarrr, Monkey Shines is my favourite out of them, the only other one I can think of that might count is Congo.

In The Shadow of Kiliminjaro (sp) is about the only other one I can think of.

I was merely waiting to see if any other ones popped up. Yes thank you. I know Shakma is one and maybe that Shadow in the mountain of kiliminjaro is the other one I've seen.
One of them was really frightening(which equals good in my language) by the way.

I thought Link was scarier, but I liked Shakma better. It did a surprisingly good job of wiping out characters you thought might make it to the end.
By the way, John Galt, you don't happen to be a reader of Ayn Rand, are you? :-)

Kudos for being the first person on these boards to notice!
I didn't waste too much time on the politics forum. WAY too many imbeciles.

Read Atlas Shrugged when I was in high school. It still is one of my favorite rereads. I figured your screen name couldn't be coincidence. Cheers!
