What the hell's up with SciFi Channel??

James Bond movies all friggin Thanksgiving Day on the SciFi channel? Don't get me wrong, I love the Bond movies. But, you can catch them all of the time on Spike TV, AMC, TNT, TBS, etc. Why is SciFi carrying them? I used to count on SciFi for giving me either marathon anthology series (Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, etc), or cheesy horror movies that I loved for their non-holidayness. I think the channel is straying from their original fan base. Where's the good crap they used to play?

James Bond??? Ugh, that channel is beyond redemption. I stopped watching in the late 90's when they started cancelling all of my favorite shows. That was also when they started shitting out 52 made-for-TV abortions every year.

I just miss when they actually showed all the old sci-fi shows from the 70s and 80s... like The Phoenix, Misfits of Science, and Automan!!!

Uh, I think it's the people that RUN the channel. They try to make it as non - sci fi as possible. I mean for god sake they had FLinstones Viva Las Vegas running on it for a while.

That's definitely a bunch of bullfuck. Sci Fi pisses me off but for another reason. I'm tired of their fucking attempts at continuing franchises. The best case scenario was Beyond Re-Animator which turned out so so. Then you have garbage like Lake Placid 2, Stir of Echoes 2 (though I haven't seen that one yet), Return of the Living Dead: NeCRAPolis... just do us a favor and stop doing us favors! Let us not forget that Extreme Champion Wrestling gets shown on this network, and we all know how much Science Fiction is in that. Though don't get me wrong, I love it. I have to admit that i liked Lake Placid 2, nowhere near like the original though. I will just watch and buy any giant gator/croc movie, and the sci-fi channel is one of the companies that feed that hunger for me.

Sci-Fi airs Battlestar Galactica so they can pretty much show donkeys fucking whenever BSG isn't on and I'd still love the station for those 60 minutes of pure bliss.

Definetly not what it was before sadly.

I remember staying home sick (or, "sick") in grade school and watching Land of the Giants,Lost in Space and always waiting for Dark Shadows to go over as it bored me to death, but I always loved the end credits.

They used to always put on some great B-movies too.

ECW and James Bond on Sci-Fi? Not cool.

I always used to watch old school horror flicks, as well as Mystery Science Theater 3000 AKA one of the funniest shows on TV. its a shame what it is now.

Yes but you have to remember that ECW is one of their top rated shows that is cheap to make with a new show every week. It's a great way to get good advertisers.

Me and my dad caught the last fifteen minutes of this turd in the water. After it ended my dad said that it was so bad MST3K wouldn't even touch it. :D

I hate Paranormal State lol However, I have grown tired of Ghost Hunters I put it on every Wed night though but I do other things while it is on but the first season and 1/2 I would get a 6 pack of beer and some take out and was happy as can be. Also, the first time they did 8 hours live at the hotel I watched every second.
