What do you guys think of this CD? Jay Z is one of my favorite actors, and I never really was a huge Linkin Park fan before this CD, but I think Mike Shinoda is the shit (I love Fort Minor). I am not saying I hated Linkin Park, just not a die hard fan, but in this CD, I think everything fit perfectly. At only 6 songs the CD is very short, but it is worth a purchase regardless. I also love the concert that they put on for the CD. Jay Z is an actual rapper, as in, he can actually rap live. How many times have you seen a rapper perform live, and they can not keep a flow for shit (50 Cent anyone?). Jay Z really does not lose much of anything when he is Rapping Live. Now on to Linkin Park. They really matched Jay Z's style very well, and you can tell they had fun with the whole thing. Mike Shinoda really gets to show off his skills on the mic in this one. Chester does his thing as well, and the band really does great. The Production is also top notch. Over all I love this album. It is one of the more unique albums of the last few years, I just wish it had more songs.

For something that is not on the DVD or CD, here is an awesome performance featuring the two from the Grammy's a couple years back in which Paul McCartney comes out and performs with the pair. I think you really have to appreciate the old with the new in this instance.

[awaits the "Linkin Park sux" shit storm that will rain it's horrors upon this thread]

I haven't listened to that whole album, unfortunately. I dig that video in your link!

[runs off to listen to "Hybrid Theory"]

lyrically speaking Linkin Park is pretty awful but Hybrid Theory was relatively innovative rock at the time and Meteora was pretty good too.

Their new album blows Diablo Cody's nutsack though.

I kinda liked Numb/Encore but nothing else really worked for me.
