She was hot! That was until I saw her on David Letterman the other night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEcHvhL5t3U). Just watch the first 10 seconds of that, and you will be stunned. What the hell happened to her? She almost looks sick since she's so thin.

I think she's dropped a little weight, but you don't see it that much in her face. I'm also inclined to think the outfits she is wearing accentuates her thinness, because they bulk out at the sleeves and legs instead of form fitting.

What I'm more interested in is if she needs leg braces or if those pictures are photoshopped. Something leg-wise appears physically impossible with those pictures.

I think I noticed the trend of change began after A Beautiful Mind -- didn't she get a breast reduction around that time?

I remember how the movie Little Children kept telling me how attractive she was, what a godsend it was for Patrick Wilson's character to be married to her -- I beg to differ, in that film, even though Kate Winslet was made to look frumpy, she was far more attractive than the bony Connelly.

Her face is still stunning, but her body is so...disgusting. Like, a beautiful face on the body of a boy. She even looks like a boy in those pictures with the strange outfits. Not attractive photos AT ALL.

I've also heard that she's a big runner, but something more must be going on. What's funny is that I'm a vegan just like her, and I'm NOWHERE that thin. In fact, my body is more like Kate Winslet's, which is why I applaud her. That woman makes me feel good about myself, lol.

yes. they probably have healthier self-esteem and fewer body image issues than connelly (in other words, they may be happy with their bodies and not trying to lose weight. they're also foreign actresses from cultures less weight obsessed than we are). if connelly's so into running (or weight loss) that it's making her this thin, obviously she doesn't view her body the same way that we do on this board.

just to be clear, i'm not defending connelly's weight loss. my point was actually that the effects of weight loss seem to be accentuated when you lose it as you are aging. especially when you go back and compare a picture of yourself now (thinner) to yourself 10 years ago.

Nicole Kidman's Balenciaga wedding dress was beautiful though...and the red dress she wore to the Oscars was very striking too.

Anyway, I think Connelly is still very beautiful despite her frail frame. She was definitely more sexually alluring when she had some more meat on her bones...but hey, if she is happy and maintaining this weight purely through healthy diet and exercise then more power to her.

I usually don't care about celeb weight (it's their life!!) but I'll admit that that Letterman clip is really, really worrying. I actually just wrote my english research paper on celebs being called too skinny, concentrating on the new 90210 actresses (B+!!) so I'm not going to go blaming an eating disorder or anything, but she needs to take a look at herself and concentrate on getting a healthy body weight.
