*Almost certainly
I don't watch The X Factor, mainly because, well, I LIKE music and this isn't music. It's karaoke, and fucking mediocre karaoke at that from everything I've ever heard.
However, this version of Hallelujah, by this years 'winner' Alexandra Burke (quotes because winning this competition may well mean that by this time next year she's back on the cabaret circuit) barely even ascends to that level. It's like someone making both Leonard Cohen's and Jeff Buckley's versions bend over and then anally raping them for 3 minutes and 36 seconds. I had no idea you could sing this song without a single discernable emotion.
Dare you listen? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daz2wjOI41k)
