Oh god yes it's a joke. First Nolan has said he doesn't want Robin ever. Second, I can't see him saying gee, Eddie Murphy is just what I need in my movie.

Dark Knight was heavily based on the graphic novels for Long Halloween and The Killing Joke. So instead of coming up with villains, I think its better to try and come up with what source material they should draw from this time.

Perhaps if they brought back Two Face somehow (Which is unlikely considering the end of TDK), they could do Dark Victory. Arkham Asylum would be a good choice too.

Now that I think about it, with Murphy's box office smash "Meet Dave", it's logical to see this rumor started.

Murphy's gonna be busy filming the next "Beverly Hills" movie and Shia LaDuh is going to be unneccessarily filming a sequel to Transformers, so this is just straight fantasy.

I like em both, but i can't envision them in Nolan's Batman's world. Robin doesn't fit the world either. I would have cast Robin Williams in one of his psycho characters (Insomnia) as Riddler.

All Batman-related stories -- regarding a third film -- will be utter rubbish, they haven't even developed a script. The next story of truth will be about screenplays and Nolan's decision to do it or not. Until then its just actors getting their agents to put themself into the frame, or its journalists being too lazy to do hard work.
