LMAO I love that shit, I have seen it many times and I never get old. Jamie Foxx will forever be the man.

Haha. Fuck. This video is proof that you can't always look like the bigger man for taking the high road. Foxx was a bitch, and Williams somehow looked like more of a bitch for trying to ignore it.
Foxx smashed the shit out of that guy. He got everybody on the room laughing with him. You just can't beat that. Knockout. Makes me feel bad for Williams every time I watch it.

OH SNAP!!!!
That was really killer, you can tell Williams isnt that great of a comedian if someone like Jamie Foxx can get under your jokes and just completely ruin your shit.
I wish it was Carlos Mencia instead of Williams though.

LOL
That put Jamie Foxx up some notches in my book. I also wish it had been Mencia though. :D

Too bad it wasn't funny like the rest of Foxx's material as a comedian. I don't even know who Doug Williams is, but he had no business being up there. The guy definitely should stay out of comedy. If you can get roasted by Jamie Foxx like that, you really aren't much of a comedian at all.

I think Foxx is a self-obsessed cocky asshole, but that was pretty funny.:)

i gotta agree with Poop here
dude is a good actor, a decent comedian... but is a complete ego-maniac...
BUT, that shit was funny... i would feel bad for the comedian, but every other word he said was "this Nigga here, that nigga there"
i can't stand any comedian who uses that word every other word... just cause you are black doesn't mean you have to use it every other word!

OH SNAP!!!!
I wish it was Carlos Mencia instead of Williams though.
Its ok Joe Rogan already took care of that in epic fashion.....it made it even better knowing that Rogan could also physically kick Mencia's ass if it came to it.

I used to like Jamie Foxx before his Oscar and his "singing career". Nowadays, he just seems to come off as COCKY and BORING, to be honest with you, always partying, telling us how great he is and signing crappy songs. What was the last GOOD MOVIE he was in?
I don't know who that Williams guy is, but he seemed like an up-and-coming comedian trying to make a name for himself, and Foxx didn't seem to "take the jokes" against him, and decided to humiliate the dude in front of everyone.
It just confirmed to me that Foxx is a cocky beeyatch and on top of that, he's RUDE and not helpful to up-and-comers. I'm not sure I understand what everyone finds so funny about a "made man" making fun of an "amateur". Seems quite rank to me...

The Kingdom (2007)
Miami Vice (2006)
Jarhead (2005)
Ray (2004)

I haven't seen footage of the whole event but it seemed like Foxx was hosting it, which if the case gives him the right to make sure the night keeps going good, and I think everyone watching that video could tell Williams was just not ready or prepared, the meat on the bones joke has NEVER been funny, if anything Foxx's stunt has given Williams some un-deserved attention.

I think this took place in 2003, so it shows that Jamie Foxx has always been a cocky, egomaniacal asshole, even before he started winning awards.

There are a lot better ways to liven up the party than pointing out some poor sap and humiliating him until he runs home with tears in his eyes. I'm sure there was some beef between foxx and williams before the show.
Shit thing to do, but there is no way williams came out of that looking good. Even sitting here watching that video, I can't think of one comeback the dude could have made (other than punching out foxx). Dead in the water.

If the guy wants to get his name out, do it at comedy clubs and not at a roast for someone you don't know. Jamie Foxx probably didn't like the fact that the guy was taking what was supposed to be a celebration of Emmitt Smith and turning it into a way to promote himself. Roasts are usually reserved for friends/acquaintances of the person being roasted along with people who are really good at roasting.
I'm sure Jeff Ross knows Emmitt Smith as much as that other guy but Jamie Foxx didn't try and shut him down.

WOW
That was hard to watch.

That was pretty funny. Yes I know Foxx can be arrogant at times but to be fair Williams insulted him first, as echo bravo says though, it was hard to watch by the end of the clip, Foxx probably overdid it a bit there.

Nice to see a joblo appearance!
But anyway, this was at a roast, and if you have seen a roast, NOTHING is off limits. I mean have you seen some of the stuff they say on the comedy central roasts? (They are brilliant!). If someone is sensitive about anything, and does not want to get, well, roasted, that is the last place they should be. lol. Those guys probably laughed it off afterward. I mean its definitely not the meanest thing ive ever seen at a roast (Jeff Ross making a Kurt Cobain joke at Courtney Love's expense comes to mind)
And FYI This was the pre singer/oscar Ray, so you can like it joblo!! :D

I thought it was pretty funny. It is a ROAST after all, although admittedly, Foxx's jokes were mean-spirited. Maybe it would have been more appropriate to say something after the event in an interview. I don't know. I don't think anyone would have a problem with it if the humiliated comedian was Carlos Mencia.

That was horrible. Just awful. Painful to watch. But...I laughed- a lot. I felt bad about myself after, but I did laugh. It was funny.
But man was it mean. I'm not sure if it was "mean spirited" or not tho. I mean we have all seen people get in front of crowds and humiliate people to make the crowd laugh. There usually isn't any ill will there- people just get caught up in the moment.
But that's most people- I get the feeling Foxx didn't care, because he is egotistical prick. Of course my impression of the man could be wrong.
Regardless, I felt sorry for the comedian- but he wasn't very funny on his own.
