I don't find it unbelievable that a Rolex can help someone get over certain situations. After my great-grandmother died the sounds of the ocean crashing coupled with the night sky made me content with the situation. Everyone has their own little ways to get over things at different times and maybe with the situation of wrists/suicide made him appreciate what he puts on said wrist that could possibly be one of the handcrafted models. (I don't know much about all the various models)
