Charisma Carpenter

Excuse me if there already is a thread devoted to her but I've been contemplating "Hotties" and Charisma is in my top 5. I recall seeing her prior but she really beeped on my radar in "Buffy". I (and I'm sure others) had to suspend belief that she was a high school student especially whenever she was with the other core characters because (physically) she was much more "mature" than them. Don't get me wrong, Sarah Michelle Gellar is also in the top 5 (OK, maybe top 10) but Charisma always looked like a college student or a teacher when she was interacting with them. When she crossed over to "Angel", I was constantly dreaming of being a Todd Sandwich between those 2 slices of white bread, Charisma & Amy Acker.

There was a series of photos from some obscure magazine that showed her in a bikini at some seedy hotel that (IMHO) even put her Playboy pictorial to shame.

I'm not going to go so far as saying she's sooooo underutilized as an actress because I don't believe she has much of an inner talent as she has an outer talent.

The first photo is one of the series I mentioned (bikini at a seedy motel). This was taken during her "Buffy" tenure so I present this as evidence of her unbalanced hotness playing a high school student. My God, I need to find a clean sock!

Yeah, she's pretty hot - but (a) the least convincing college student ever and (b) Faith and Anya were much hotter, in my opinion. Her character was really boring, and I didn't like when she became buddies with the gang. I'd still motorboat the shit out of her, though.

Never watched Angel, did ya? She became a completely different character after a few years on that show. She actually became *gasp* important.

Never heard of her, has she been in anything other than buffy, she doesn't look familiar at all.

Gayzilla, she spent so many years on the 2 series ("Buffy" & "Angel") that she didn't do much else. She was (sort of) recently on "Veronica Mars". I even remember (far after the fact) that she was on "Baywatch", though no slo-motion running on the beach. Her Playboy pictorial has a following but did nada for her career. Her (earlier) personal life was interesting. Not sure of the actual logistics but her and 2 friends were swimming is a lake when a guy (serial killer?) attacked them and killed the 2 friends. She also was a Chargers cheerleader.

Trail_Blazer, her looks are certainly unique and she IS getting older but during "Buffy" she was beautiful. Once she went to "Angel" and had a kid, she started looking like a soccer mom (with a fantastic body!).

Bake TheMooCow, her as a college student wasn't as much of a stretch as her as a high school student. The two shows had A LOT of hot actresses/characters:

LordSimen, I was hooked on the "Buffy" universe so I naturally gravitated over to "Angel" when it started. I wasn't surprised when her character made an appearance (almost all of the "Buffy" characters did) but I was very surprised that she stayed for so many seasons. Her character was all over the map though.
