That's just wrong! Who the hell looks like that at 62? That is not all supplement, you gotta work to look like that. As for the face, i can guarantee he has had some work done, he looks more like 90s stallone. Anyway, this further certifies that the Expendables will be the greatest movie ever.

There are several factors at work here. For some steroids is an issue but there are those with a lot of natural ability. Training for body definition and performance training are two completely different things, performance training being far more demanding of the two. Still, it doesn’t happen all on its own, you have to put your time in the gym regardless and it looks like Stallone’s done that. On a personal level though, I can’t condone the use of HGH amongst a litany of other "supplements" he is probably using. I understand that it’s his life and his body but it does set a dangerous precedent.

This is why he needs to do some more action filcks before his bones give out on him. Guy looks like he's got at least 10 more in 'em!

I've never known "just the gym" make a pensioner look like he's been whittled from playdough.

He looks foul.

I think they're probably fake tattoos for the movie.

Which one?

All I know is Inglorious Bastards and those are not tattoos of the era.

Just did a little investigating and apparently the tattoos are real. The one on his right (our left) upper arm is of his current wife. The roses symbolize their daughters. It was done in late 2007. Here is a Link. (http://www.tattoopaparazzi.com/index.php/celebrity/tattoos/sylvester_stallone_tattoos.html)

I haven't found any info on the other tattoos. Personally, I'm not a fan of them.

He is fucking ripped and it's good for him to be fit more than probably any other 62 year old man. Hell than most men. I can't wait for The Expendables.

My dad is 65 and I've been getting sad of late that he's getting up there in years and starting to "get old." Sly is 62 and can snap me in half over his knee...

Sylvester ain't gonna be in Inglorious Basterds, QT had just wanted him, apparently.

Did you know that his right pec is smaller and less defined because he tore it to shreds while doing a benching competition against Franco Columbu?

He needed over 150 stitches.

He looks fucking great. Foul would be if he turned out like Arnold or any other 62 year old really, with a huge gut. And he might be using some drugs, but you can't get a body like that just from drugs. He probably works out everyday. Well done to him.

yeah, some of it might be steriods, but it is impossible to have that figure at his age without serious workout, he looks awesome for 62.

Theres plenty of fellas in their 60's who look fit and natural and haven't let themselves go.

Sean Connery is nearly 80 and he doesn't look like a fucking circus freak. Springsteen is nearly 60, Denzel Washington is mid-50's...Harrison Ford is in his 60's...Ben Kingsley, Patrick Stewart, even Pitt and Clooney are getting on!

I think Sly looks fucking grotesque, straight up...his torso doesn't look entirely real and his skin is far too taut...the veins are overly prominent and downright unsightly and he is a ghastly shade of sausage pink to boot.

I'm surprised that so many of you think he looks super duper when he's clearly all juiced up, overworked and appears to have been basting himself with beef dripping.

Fuck that shit. Yuck.

I'm not going to assume it's steroids but he has been ripped for 30+ years. It's possible to sustain since he started with proper diet and workout regimen. Not EVERYONE who is ripped is on roids.

Oh for sure. Now that you pointed that out it's pretty obvious he's got a small right tit. Crazy. That must have hurt like a mother fucker.

As for him taking HGH who cares? HGH is no big deal at all. Even if he uses some steroids I don't have a problem with it. He's not an athlete failing piss tests, he's a 62 year old man trying to look good for his movies.

That picture makes me want to hit the gym. fucking beast

That is damn impressive for a man of any age. His body fat must be under 7% and that is no small feat.

Yeah, but he was caught while doing Rambo with a shipment of steroids, so yeah, there goes your argument. I don't really respect people on roids... it's cheating on your body and dangerous to your health, no matter how good you look.

Problem is, using HGH is a big deal. Before people warped its use, HGH was administered to children with growth deficiencies. Besides that, I've seen many high performance athletes and fitness junkies alike; pay a big price for having cut corners by resorting to performance enhancing drugs.

How you administer a drug is also a major factor. Any excesses and you will certainly do a great deal more damage. Ultimately though and somewhere down the line, you will pay a price. Just think of Newton's third law. Here's another thing, there is no concrete evidence proving that HGH enhances performance.

Is it his body his choice? Absolutely. Is it unfair and a double standard? You bet it is. You won't find any arguments here. But at the end of the day, he is a public figure and a popular one. Whether you like it or not, there are a set of responsibilities that go along with that kind of position. That's the price you pay for being a public figure.

A lot of people also tend to think; "He can do it, so can I." Only problem is, many people don't have the kind of money that a Stallone or a Barry Bonds might have. They can't afford the proper techniques or even the proper purchases.

Most people don't stop to think about the consequences. They are impatient and want that six pack the easiest and quickest way possible. Impatience and a lack of resources lead them to make shoddy purchases. In other words... The black market. Combine black market purchases with an etch-a-sketch knowledge on how to administer these drugs... And you’ve got yourself a disaster waiting to happen.

Following is a sample of what can go wrong using HGH:

Thyroid damage
Diabetic coma
Liver damage
Acromegaly
Heart enlargement
Excessive hair growth
Excessive water retention
Cancer: Colon, Prostate, Breast
Premature death

Yeah, but he was caught while doing Rambo with a shipment of steroids, so yeah, there goes your argument. I don't really respect people on roids... it's cheating on your body and dangerous to your health, no matter how good you look.

Cosmic... I knew I remembered reading somewhere about Stallone being charged for Steroids. A few Google clicks and presto! Stallone was caught with steroids at Sydney airport during a random baggage check. Courts have officially filed charges but it doesn't look like any jail time is in play. A decent cash fine somewhere in the order of $110,000 - $22,000 is in the cards though.

So a lot of shit can happen if you use it....Im sure Stallone is aware of this and any way you put it the only person he is hurting is himself so if he wants to take the risk then who is anyone else to look down upon him for it. He isn't getting an athletic advantage over someone for competitive purposes, he isn't doing something that will affect anyone else, and at 62, most people have less than 20 years left in their lives so regardless of the risks I doubt he is concerned about them.

Steroids make you puffy, and usually work by allowing the muscles to hold more water. That is definitely not a steroid look. He may have used them for Rambo, but that's not how he looks now. As for HGH, it is not considered a steroid, though it is an enhancing agent, and he has admitted to using HGH, as for the drawbacks, I don't know any item, animal vegetable or mineral that doesnt have side effects.

Like most said, if he is hurting anyone it's only himself. It's like someone choosing to smoke. Hey, if they wanna go that way, who are we to get involved.

I say Stallone has 8 more action movies in him.

He is one of the last true action heroes next to JCVD and some other hopeful.

I just realized is that another action favorite of mine is going to be 70 next year. None other than Chuck Norris. I mean, I know he is not human, but really, has that guy aged since the 80s?

I'm kind of pulling for a sequel to Cobra.

It wasn't a masterpiece but it was a raw and good action flick.

They need to make the ultimate action film before it's too late, tell me an action movie with Arnold, Sly, Kurt Russell, etc wouldn't be tits.
