Nevermind, I found them... I did pretty good. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
I don't think MIIB is doing especially great during midweek.
I mean even Lilo and Stitch and Scooby-Doo did better. Guess it's gonna have a 50-60% drop this weekend with the arrival of four strong new films.

I can not believe that Reign of Fire only made $5.8 million. That's crazy because the theater I saw it at yesterday was jam-packed, there wasn't a seat left in the house, and there was a huge line in front of the theater. I guess it was just my theater, but I was beginning to think that my $25 million for Reign of Fire was too small. I was right on Road to Perdition, Halloween: Resurrection, and Crocodile Hunter predictions though.

Road To Perdition and even to a lesser extent, Halloween:Resurrection, are going to have great per screen averages since both are showing in less than 2000 screens.

I'm surprised RTP did so well with so few screens. The power of Tom Hanks...

Films with an established fan base tend to fare better at exit polls than films without the fan base. The reason? Halloween:Resurrection for example has mainly die-hard Halloween fans in the theatre in the premiere day, when exit-polls are done. Naturally they respond more positively to a franchise they already love than the average movie-goer.

And to think, Men in Black II is playing on MORE than double the theater count of Road to Perdition. Men in Black II was playing in 3611 screens while Road to Perdition was playing 1797 screens...a difference of 1814 screens. My bitch ass theater better start playing it by next weekend.
[This message has been edited by The Other (edited 07-14-2002).]
wow! good numbers for the weekend, specially for Halloween and Crocodile Hunter, considering their low budget of around 12-15 million. I expected Reign of Fire to make more money, my theater was packed!
Go HALLOWEEN, I predicted it would make around 12 Million for the weekend so it looks like I wasn't too far off. It should finish with AT LEAST 30 Million...
I thought REIGN OF FIRE would do better but it still did well and should continue to do well throughout the summer...
ROAD TO PERDITION did very good as much as I hate to admit it. I still won't see it though...
