My favorite movie that Judd Apatow actually made is Knocked Up, but my favorite of all of these is Anchorman

It's Anchorman! Followed by 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up.
Superbad and Pineapple Express are a bit overrated for my taste. I laughed maybe three times during those movies. Most of the movies are steady though and pretty much hilarious.
However, Talladega Nights was really weak and I should say that so was Semi-Pro, but it's Basketball so it's got a plus.

The first 4 are all pretty interchangable. Love them all to bits. The rest, with the exception of the last two, are all great and I watch them constantly.

The 40 Year Old Virgin, followed closely by Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
But honestly, I think they're all hilarious more often that not to some degree or another. I'm a puerile motherfucker to the bone, baby.

Walk Hard.
Nothing better than John C. Riley playing a character that mocks every musical biopic.

For me, none of the subsequent film efforts can surpass his amazing television series Freaks & Geeks!!!

Pineapple, Superbad, and Anchorman are the ones not guilty of being waaaay too long with lots of unnecessary, boring schmaltzy "straight" story stuff.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story made me laugh the most out of the ones i've seen there (Knocked Up, Superbad, 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman, Talledage Nights) so i went with that since it's comedy's number one goal. 40 YOV is a close second though, his projects are great as long as he doesn't have Seth Rogen play a leading role it seems.

It's a close one for me... out of the more comedy-oriented productions, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is probably the best with Superbad a close second. But nothing can quite beat Apatow's self-directed and self-written, brilliant combination of wacky, hilarious comedy but also serious, true-to-life drama, as seen in Knocked Up. So, that's my favourite. Hilarious, but touching and realistic as well!
