I thought New Line was no more... Swallowed by WB :)

Although Region A BD is out in Cannnnnnnnada... bare bones edition of the first film :)

Basically New Line made a TON of money from the Lord Of The Rings Franchise but shoddy decision making made them lose all those profits in a very short amount of time...
