Halloween Script

I know what your thinking...another fucking Halloween script, but here what's special about mine. I writing a script to part 3. It will be with Michael Myers this time! It will explain his where-abouts at the time. The way things should've been! Any good ideas, i just may add them to my work.

With a new Halloween film currently in theaters, it's to be expected that there would be a surge in Halloween fan-scripts. I think it's a great idea! I've been saying in a couple of other threads that writing a sequel to an established franchise (or to any film that you really enjoyed) is the perfect practice for an aspiring screenwriting.

A couple questions, however. First, is your story going to take place directly after the events of Halloween II? If so, how would you deal with the age-factor of Jamie Lee Curtis, as well as the burning of Dr. Loomis and The Shape? Or will it not deal with Laurie and Loomis and take place later on? If it does take place several months/years after H2, how will you reconcile the fact that Michael was in a coma for ten years after he was burned at the end of H2? Or are you going to disregard the storyline of H4,5, & 6? I wouldn't think less of you if you did, since Moustapha Akkad seems to have no problem doing just that!

I plan to have Halloween 3: The Night He Came Back take place where Halloween 2 left off. Myers would escape the blaze and find shelter in his home to tidy himself up a bit. In this Halloween he will be chasing Tommy Doyle. This would explain Tommy Doyle's interest in Michael Myers in part 6. Dr. Loomis will be in critical condition at some hospital in the next town, so that will explain his absense. Laurie Strode will not be in this one seeing she has to go in the Witness Protection Program and fake her death 3 years later after giving birth to Jamie...But this script will just deal with Myer's in a rage that he cannot find his target and on the night after Halloween 1 and 2 take place, he goes after Tommy. I'm aware that this night will not be Halloween night but pretty cool none-the-less!

oh and as for Michael's coma, well I'll just write that into the script that he gets hit by a car or an anvil or something...possibly another fire.

Seriously, though - a good thing to show in your script would be the sprinkler system at the hospital kicking on after the blast. I've always wondered why they didn't turn on at the end of Halloween II - this could explain how Michael was able to survive with first degree burns instead of being charred to a crisp.

good luck with it,im working on a Halloween 9 Script...i'll be releasing info shortly,and im taking this the most serious out of my scripts,simply because i say the same words everytime and never live up to them...but this one,i can assure people will be completed as far as script is concerned...then its to the Franchise of my working dreams,Night Escape,which all of you know is a lifetime work for me.
